The Quality Assurance Office (QAO) conducted an Online Mock Accreditation on August 20, 2026, in preparation for the upcoming Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Accreditation Survey Visits.
The activity covered the Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences (BSESS) under the College of Sports, Exercise and Recreation (CSER), which will undergo its Second Survey Visit, and the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) and Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) under the BulSU-Meneses Campus, which will undergo their First Survey Visit.
The Universityโs pool of internal accreditors was composed of Dr. Eunice B. Custodio, Director of the Quality Assurance Office and faculty member of the College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT); Dr. Mayleen Dorcas B. Castro, Deputy Director of the International and Local Certifications and Awards (ILCA) and faculty member of CICT; Dr. Eduardo D. Masirag of the College of Criminal Justice Education; Prof. Yolanda C. Roberto of the College of Science; and Engr. Noemi P. Reyes of CICT.
During the mock accreditation, the internal accreditors conducted simulated interviews with program representatives, reviewed documentary evidence, and provided observations and recommendations to help the programs identify areas for improvement and further strengthen their readiness for the upcoming AACCUP survey visits.

Bulacan State University (BulSU), through the Quality Assurance Office (QAO), conducted an online Orientation on the AUN-QA Programme Assessment on August 19, 2026, as part of the Universityโs continuing efforts to strengthen quality assurance practices and prepare selected academic programs for international program assessment.
The University was honored to welcome Dr. Jesusa N. Padilla, AUN-QA Expert, as the resource speaker. Dr. Padilla is an accomplished academic leader, engineer, researcher, and quality assurance professional. She holds a Doctor of Technology and a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering, and is a Professional Electronics Engineer and ASEAN Engineer. She has extensive experience in academic leadership, engineering education, and international quality assurance, particularly in the AUN-QA Programme Assessment framework.
The orientation was attended by Associate Deans, Program Chairs, and Core Faculty from selected BulSU programs, namely Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Specialization in Computer Technology.
As part of the session, Dr. Padilla facilitated a readiness assessment workshop, where the participating programs evaluated their current level of preparedness for the AUN-QA Programme Assessment and identified areas for improvement.
A follow-up online workshop will be conducted on August 27, 2026, to further guide the participating programs in strengthening their preparations for international programme assessment.
Through the Quality Assurance Office, BulSU continues to advance its commitment to quality enhancement, continuous improvement, academic excellence, and internationalization.

Bulacan State University (BulSU) conducted the ISO 21001:2025 Review and Preparation of PowerPoint Presentation Materials for the Management Review of the Main Campus on August 17, 2026, as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen the implementation of the Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS).
Representatives from the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), Learning Development Unit, Educational Development Office, and Student Policy Development Office participated in the activity.
The participating offices reviewed and consolidated relevant institutional information and prepared presentation materials for the upcoming Management Review. The activity aimed to ensure that key organizational inputs, processes, and accomplishments are accurately presented and aligned with the requirements of ISO 21001:2025.

Demonstrating their sustained commitment to quality management and academic excellence, Bulacan State University (BulSU) Hagonoy and Meneses Campuses actively participated in the ISO 21001:2025 Review and Updating of Educational Organization Policy, Objectives, and Plans held virtually via Zoom on August 14, 2026.
The joint online activity aimed to evaluate and refine the existing educational organization policies, targeted objectives, and operational plans of both satellite campuses. Key stakeholders and administrative focal persons reviewed operational frameworks to ensure full compliance with the ISO 21001:2025 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) standard while strengthening strategic alignment with BulSUโs overarching institutional direction.

Bulacan State University โ Sarmiento Campus and Bustos Campus participated in the ISO 21001:2025 Review and Updating of Educational Organization Policy, Objectives, and Plans conducted via Zoom on August 13, 2026.
The activity was facilitated by the International/Local Certifications & Awards (ILCA) in partnership with Synergized Macro Solutions, Inc. (SMS). It provided the Campus representatives with an opportunity to systematically review their existing Educational Organization Policy, Objectives, and Plans and identify necessary revisions in consideration of the requirements of ISO 21001:2025.
The discussions centered on ensuring that the respective policies, objectives, and plans remain relevant, responsive to institutional priorities, and aligned with the current operations and strategic direction of the Campuses.

Bulacan State University participated in the ISO 21001:2025 Review and Updating of EOMS Documentation on August 12, 2026, with representatives from the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO), Research and Innovation Office (RIO), and Gender and Development Center (GADC).
The activity was facilitated by the International/Local Certifications & Awards (ILCA) in partnership with Synergized Macro Solutions, Inc. (SMS). It provided an opportunity for the participating offices to review their existing EOMS documents and identify areas for updating in accordance with the requirements of ISO 21001:2025.
The representatives reviewed relevant Risks and Opportunities Assessment (ROA), Quality Control Plans (QCP), and Educational Organization Policy, Objectives, and Plans, with discussions focused on ensuring that these documents remain relevant to the offices' current operations, priorities, and quality objectives.
The activity forms part of Bulacan State University's continuing efforts to strengthen the implementation of its Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) and uphold its commitment to quality and continual improvement.

On August 10, 2026, the University conducted a Planning and Preparation Meeting for the ISO 21001:2025 Internal EOMS Audit, attended by the designated Internal EOMS Auditors from the Main and External Campuses.
The meeting focused on aligning the Internal EOMS Auditors on the audit process, requirements, roles, and necessary preparations to support the effective implementation of the Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) across the University.

On August 12, 2026, Bulacan State University welcomed the CHED Technical PanelโRegional Quality Assessment Team (TP-RQAT) for an on-site evaluation of the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning under the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA) and the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management with Specialization in Travel Operations and Airport Operations under the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM).
As part of the evaluation, the CHED TP-RQAT conducted an ocular inspection of the University's facilities and learning resources relevant to the programs. The team also conducted interviews with the Deans, Program Chairs, and faculty members to gain a deeper understanding of the programs' academic practices, instructional delivery, resources, and support mechanisms. The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning was represented by Dr. Dennis L. Estacio, while the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management with Specialization in Travel Operations and Airport Operations was represented by Chef Christian Anthony G. Castillo, together with their respective Associate Deans, Program Chairs, and core faculty members.
The visit likewise included the monitoring of the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) implementation at the University. The monitoring team conducted interviews with Office of the Student Financial Assistance and Scholarships (OSFAS) Director, Dr. Dolly Maroma, Dean of Student Affairs and Services for the Main Campus Assoc. Prof. Joseph Roy F. Celestino, and GADC Focal Person Mx. Aries Pasno, along with personnel involved in student services and GADC-related initiatives. The monitoring also covered the Universityโs Tuition and Other School Fees, which were prepared by the University Accountant and Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Sheila Marie DS. Domingo, and reviewed by UniFAST as part of its compliance monitoring activities.
The CHED TP-RQAT members included Mr. Jericho M. Manuel, EPS II; Engr. Rico Jay S. Laxa, ES II; Dr. Susana Torres; and Ar. Shalla Gayle Billano. Meanwhile, the UniFAST team was represented by Mr. Carlo M. Garcia, Regional Coordinator, and Ms. Glyssa Kaye Cruz.
The visit provided an opportunity for Bulacan State University to demonstrate its continuing commitment to quality academic programs, responsive student services, and compliance with CHED standards and requirements. It also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the University's academic and administrative units in supporting quality assurance and ensuring that students are provided with appropriate facilities, services, and learning opportunities.

Bulacan State University โ Sarmiento Campus successfully concluded the 3rd Survey Phase 2 Visit of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., held on August 10โ12, 2026, for the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BS Entrep) and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) programs. The accreditation activity was facilitated by the Bulacan State University Quality Assurance Office (QAO) in coordination with the Sarmiento Campus and the concerned academic units.
The three-day visit brought together the AACCUP accreditors who assessed the two programs based on the prescribed standards and areas of evaluation. For the BS in Entrepreneurship, the survey team was composed of Dr. Giged T. Battung of Cagayan State University, Team Leader; Dr. Gehana D. Lamug of Camarines Norte State College; and Dr. Liza M. Tamargo of Ifugao State University. Meanwhile, the BS in Hospitality Management was evaluated by Dr. Ria T. Monsale of Iloilo State University and Allied Sciences, Team Leader; Dr. Jeanneth F. Darroca of Iloilo State University and Allied Sciences; and Dr. Liza M. Tamargo of Ifugao State University.
During the visit, the two programs presented their accomplishments, practices, resources, and initiatives in support of quality instruction, student development, research, extension, and continuous program improvement. The activity also provided an opportunity for faculty members, staff, students, and other stakeholders to engage with the accreditors and demonstrate the collective efforts of the University in sustaining the quality and relevance of its academic programs.
