A HUMBLE APPEAL
The Del Pilarian Commission on Elections and Appointments (COMEA) fully respects the autonomy and freedom of every student to express their insights, opinions, and sentiments regarding the recent election results. Open discourse is a vital part of a democratic and academic community.
However, while freedom of expression is valued and protected, it must always be exercised with responsibility. The COMEA strictly condemns and prohibits any comments, posts, or materials containing defamatory, derogatory, or slanderous statements directed toward any candidate or toward the Commission itself.
We encourage the Del Pilarian community to voice their perspectives with courtesy, professionalism, and integrity. Let us remain guided by the principles of respect, accountability, and fairness in all forms of engagement.
The COMEA stands firm in its commitment to transparency, impartiality, and integrity in faithfully serving the Del Pilarian community.

SSLG ELECTION 2026 | OFFICIAL GUIDELINES
VOTING PROCEDURES
• Voting will be casted in your designated classrooms. The teacher present during the voting will supervise the entire process.
• Each section must provide a masterlist for the checking of attendance.
• Before the voting begins, COMEA Election Facilitators must ask if there are any official candidates present in the room. Candidates will be allowed to cast their votes; however, immediately after voting, they must leave the room. Official candidates are strictly prohibited from witnessing or observing the tallying of votes.
• COMEA Election Facilitators will manage the voting process, distribute the ballots, assist voters as needed, and tally the votes in the classrooms.
• After completing the tallying, COMEA Election Facilitators shall seal the envelope and request the teacher present to affix their signature on it to certify the process.
• Follow the instructions of the COMEA Election Facilitators for a smooth electoral process.
PROPER BALLOT HANDLING AND SHADING
• Receive your ballot from the COMEA Election Facilitators.
• Use a black ballpen to shade the circle corresponding to your chosen candidate.
• Shade the circle completely and properly, avoiding unnecessary marks or incomplete shading.
• Vote only for the permitted number of candidates as specified (1 for Executive Committee positions, 2 for Grade Level Representatives).
CONFIDENTIALITY AND PROHIBITED ACTIONS
• Keep your votes confidential. Do not discuss or show your choices.
• Avoid taking photos, videos, or any documentation of your ballot.
• Do not tamper with or damage any election materials.
FOR STUDENTS WITHOUT CLASSES ON THE ELECTION DAY
• You are strongly encouraged to attend school and vote.
• Students who do not have scheduled classes during the voting period may proceed to Room c 203, located on the second floor of the 3P’s C Science Building, to cast their votes.
• Students must be in complete school uniform and are required to present their school ID and bring their own ballpen.
Please follow the guidelines to ensure a smooth and fair election. Vote honestly and keep your choices confidential to help maintain fairness and integrity.
