The Carthage Activity Center buzzed with heat and the aroma of delicious dishes as Basic Education Department students went head-to-head to see who could cook up the best and healthiest meryenda last July 17, 2026 ๐ฅ
Guided by their respective class advisers, the students were put on the challenge of creating a very delicious, yet healthy ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข that focuses on the ingredient assigned to them per level.
This initiative perfectly embodies the Augustinian-Marian spirit of courage, encouraging the students to step out of their comfort zone and face the heat of the competition, and the value of humility where in spite of having to compete, continue to show deep respect and honor towards their competitors.

Deeply rooted in its rich history, LCUP joyfully commemorates the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, the patroness of our parish and the namesake of the universityโs former identity.
LCUP administrators, faculty, and staff, alongside Grade 11 students from the Barasoain Campus, gathered to celebrate the feast with a Holy Mass at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, famously known as the Barasoain Church.
In a solemn double celebration, the official oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected student leaders was also held during the Eucharistic celebration.
