A huge thank you to our special guest speaker, Clarrence Kyle Quintayo (UPCAT Passer – BS MechEng in UPLB & DOST Undergraduate Scholar), for inspiring us with his personal story and journey! 📚💡 He shared the real ups and downs of his path, along with invaluable advice on how to conquer the UPCAT and secure that DOST Scholarship.

The previous Byahe Tayo 🚘 by Maloleño Youth, NEST Unit had the privilege of witnessing the remarkable dedication of organizations that continue to champion the welfare of the youth and their communities: Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO), National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), Guiguinto Scholar Association (GSA), and PINTAKASI. ✨

Through their inspiring stories, these organizations shared the challenges they have encountered—from limited funding to the difficulty of building meaningful collaborations and securing institutional support. Despite these obstacles, they demonstrated that true leadership is not defined by the absence of difficulties, but by the ability to transform challenges into opportunities for innovation, resilience, and growth. 🔥

The speakers also emphasized an important lesson: awards, medals, and trophies are merely secondary achievements. The true measure of success lies in the positive and lasting impact we create in society, as well as the honor we bring to our communities, institutions, and the people we serve.

May their stories inspire us never to abandon our aspirations. Every challenge we overcome is a stepping stone toward personal growth, meaningful service, and lasting change. 🌱✨

This quarter, we reached a major milestone! The NEST Unit has successfully navigated the formal process and is now officially registered as a Maloleño Youth Organization. This recognition validates our hard work and unlocks new opportunities for partnership and impact across Malolos.

Building on the competitive triumphs and individual academic milestones (like Clarrence's UPCAT pass noted last quarter), we are ecstatic to announce another individual achievement by Clarrence Kyle Quintayo, who has successfully passed the 2026 DOST Undergraduate Scholarship. This continued success from our students reaffirms the technical caliber produced by our training.

We have always taken pride in how our graduates continue to "soar beyond" (as highlighted in our Q1 report). This quarter, we celebrate a landmark Alumni success: Zy David Guerrero, an Alumni Itik, just released his very first app in the Google Playstore! His app, MYDAYZ (Planner/Organizer), demonstrates that the research skills and innovative spirit fostered in the NEST Unit translate into real-world technological solutions.

To ensure the sustainability of our research engine, we are delighted to welcome the "New Generation" of Rosarian Researchers: the Newly Hatched Itiks (our new Grade 11s!). These fresh faces are ready to begin their research journeys and carry the torch of excellence

Finally, we must celebrate the physical manifestation of our research culture. The SMART-G Hub (CMIS-Sto. Rosario’s Center of Research and Innovation) is now fully realized, a massive project made possible by the dedication of our Grade 12 Itiks. This hub serves as a central point for collaboration and creativity for all current and future Rosarian innovators.
