The NEST Unit proudly announces a remarkable achievement from one of its own. Zy David Guerrero, an Itik alumnus researcher, has officially stepped into the world of technology as an App Developer, marking a new chapter in his journey beyond the halls of academia.

Mr. Guerrero has successfully launched his debut mobile application, MYDAYZ – Planner Organizer, now available on the Google Playstore. This milestone not only highlights his technical skill but also demonstrates the growing impact of NEST Unit alumni in diverse fields.

MYDAYZ is designed as a comprehensive “Life Operating System.” It integrates smart scheduling, habit tracking, journaling, and wellness routines into one streamlined platform. Unlike many productivity apps, MYDAYZ is built with a strong commitment to privacy—offering users a secure environment free from advertisements and subscriptions. Its features include intelligent task management, project tracking, daily and nightly routines, and even gamified motivation through its unique “Garden” system.

For students, professionals, and anyone seeking better control of their time, MYDAYZ provides a modern solution that makes productivity both effective and enjoyable. Guerrero’s work reflects the discipline and innovation nurtured within the NEST Unit, and his success stands as a proud testament to the caliber of its alumni.

As we enter May, it is great to look back at the first four months of the year. The first quarter of 2026 has been a period of historic milestones and organizational growth for the NEST Unit. From academic breakthroughs to competitive triumphs, our students continue to redefine excellence in research and innovation.

​We are proud to announce that the Math Team's research on Social Network Analysis of a Public School using Gephi Software has been officially accepted for publication in the PUP Journal of Science and Technology. This achievement underscores the high caliber of technical research being produced within our department. Stay tune for its actual release!

​Furthermore, we celebrate a significant individual milestone as we congratulate our first student, Clarrence Kyle B. Quintayo, in seven years to pass the UPCAT from the SHS Department. This success sets a powerful precedent for future scholars.

​Our students also made their mark at UP Diliman by securing the top two spots in the healthcare case study competition at IEshikawa 20: Atria. Their ability to apply complex methodologies to real-world challenges demonstrates the practical strength of their academic training.

In just two incredible years, NEST Unit was blessed with the presence of Sir Emmanuel Cabrera, a true ray of sunshine whose warmth and humor made everyone instantly comfortable, whether colleague or student. Beneath his wonderfully goofy and delightfully lighthearted exterior lay a relentless drive to prove himself and uplift those around him. As one of the visionary founders of NEST Unit, he dreamed of showcasing the excellence of Rosarians in robotics and innovation, and through his leadership, that dream became reality.

With his guidance and the hard work of the NEST Unit, Rosarians built a lasting legacy in the City of Malolos, proving beyond doubt that they have what it takes to lead in robotics and innovation. This success came at the cost of immense personal sacrifice, as Sir Emman devoted countless hours beyond his official duties to ensure the club’s operations ran flawlessly. His dedication not only created innovative robots but also inspired students to believe in their own potential.

Through his mentorship, several teams rose to victory, carrying with them the mark of his passion and perseverance. Sir Emmanuel Cabrera’s contributions will forever be etched in the story of NEST Unit—a legacy of vision, sacrifice, and triumph that continues to inspire Rosarians to aim higher and dream bigger.
