College of Nursing Participates in Malolos City Hall Buntis Congress
The College of Nursing was honored to be invited as keynote speakers during the Buntis Congress held on September 25 at the Malolos Convention Center. Representing the college were Ms. Josefina Reyes, RN, MAN, who delivered an insightful talk on Nutrition During Pregnancy, and Ms. Jessica Villano, who emphasized the Importance of Breastfeeding.
The aim of the program was to promote maternal and child health by educating expectant mothers on proper prenatal nutrition and the benefits of breastfeeding. Through informative discussions and community engagement, the event sought to empower women with knowledge that supports healthy pregnancies and optimal infant development.

The "Mga Kwentong ni Lola Basyang" event is a collaborative outreach program organized by the College of Nursing in partnership with the Infinite Foundation, held at Bahay Pare Elementary School. This initiative aims to nurture the holistic development of children and empower parents through education and community engagement. The event featured interactive storytelling, fun activities for children, and informative health talks for parents led by nursing students and professionals. It was a celebration of Filipino heritage, family wellness, and the transformative power of stories and education.

Tanglaw: CONnecting Hearts a joint project of BulSU CON students organization and CON extension service unit. conducted a health education lecture at Willing Hearts Orphanage in Sta Maria Bulacan. This initiative aimed to equip the children with fundamental knowledge on proper hygiene, nutrition and disease prevention. . This activity was facilitated by various CON student organizations with the supervision of MR. Ramon Laderas, Mr David Bote, Ms. Mart Yambao, Rhenelee Viray, Rowena Santos

BulSU CON extension service unit in partnership with Barasoain Host Lions Club conducted a Vision and Diabetes Awareness Lecture, held last march 28, 2025 at Pimentel Hall CON AVR. This joint project aims to reduce diabetes-related vision loss through awareness, screening and education. It was co facilitated by CON Dean Ms Magdalena Soyosa, Marlyn Cabungcal, Estelle Lerma, Rowena Santos CON extension head and Dr. Gina Panganiban, and also CON level 4 students

Dugong Alay Dugtong Buhay in partnership with Armed Force of the Philippines and Provincial Health Office Bulacan. Held at BulSU Activity Center

Hereos in Disguise: Blood Donation & Health Education Drive, a joint project of BulSU CON extension service unit and Alpha Phi Omega Philippines Inc. This initiative emphasizes blood donation donation as a humanitarian act and integrates health education lecture to foster healthier lifestyles.

March 4, 2025 BulSU CON extension service unit together with level 4 students, conducted a Self Awareness and Leadership Training in Barangay Rueda, Plaridel Bulacan. This project aims to enhance participants understanding of self-awareness as cornerstone of effective leadership. This activity was facilitated by Mam Florabel Sera Josef and Sir Pj Mendoza

March 4, 2025 BulSU CON Faculty headed by Sir David Bote together with CON level 4 students. Conducted a Self-Awareness and Leadership Training for community leaders, BHW. Brgy community members at Dampol Covered Court. The aim of this training is to develop potential leaders of the community, improving decision-making, strengthening communication skills, to create a positive working environment among its members.

BulSU College of Nursing conducted a Basic First Aid Training in partnership of Bantay Kalusugang Pampamayan and INAM Philippines. Held. last Feb 22, 2024. Mr. David S. Bote facilitated the said Training.

Bulacan State University College of Nursing Extension Service Unit together with CON Level 3 students conducted a HIV Awwareness entitiled Hello HIV Goodbye . It was conducted February 19, 2025, in Marangal National High School. The program aimed to increase awareness about HIV transmission, and treatment, reducing stigma and discrimination.
