Exam season is here, Rosarians! As we prepare for our upcoming Term 1 Examination, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) proudly presents 𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐒+ 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, a collection of reviewers prepared to help learners refresh their knowledge, revisit important lessons, and study at their own pace.

Every reviewer is prepared with the intention of helping fellow Rosarians learn and prepare! We encourage everyone to use these materials as supplementary study guides, while still prioritizing your official modules, notes, textbooks, and materials provided by your teachers!

Ngayong Agosto 21, ginugunita natin ang Araw ni Ninoy Aquino, isang mahalagang araw sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas na nakalaan upang alalahanin ang buhay, paninindigan, at sakripisyo ni Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

Noong Agosto 21, 1983, bumalik si Ninoy sa Pilipinas matapos ang ilang taong pananatili sa Estados Unidos. Sa kanyang pagdating sa Maynila, siya ay pinaslang. Ang kanyang pagkamatay ay nagpasiklab ng malawakang pagkilos ng mga Pilipino at naging mahalagang bahagi ng mga pangyayaring humantong sa EDSA People Power Revolution noong 1986 at sa muling pagsibol ng demokratikong pamamahala sa bansa.

Bilang pagkilala sa kanyang ambag at sakripisyo, ipinasa ang Republic Act No. 9256 noong 2004, na nagtatakda sa Agosto 21 bilang Ninoy Aquino Day, isang espesyal na araw na walang pasok sa buong bansa. Higit pa sa isang araw ng pahinga, ito ay pagkakataon upang balikan ang kasaysayan at pagnilayan ang halaga ng kalayaan, demokrasya, at pakikilahok ng mamamayan.

Sa paglipas ng panahon, maaaring magbago ang mga pangalan, pamahalaan, at hamon ng lipunan. Ngunit nananatiling mahalaga ang aral ng kasaysayan: ang kalayaan ay may kaakibat na pananagutan.
Bilang kabataan, tungkulin nating alamin ang nakaraan, suriin ang katotohanan, gamitin nang wasto ang ating tinig, at makilahok sa paghubog ng kinabukasan ng bayan.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

In light of the expected inclement weather due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and as precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners and school personnel, IN-PERSON CLASSES in ALL LEVELS in both public and private schools are suspended tomorrow, August 19, 2026.

Schools are instructed to implement learning continuity modalities, which must be monitored by school heads and supervisors. This suspension aims to prevent exposure to potential hazards caused by the prevailing weather conditions.

The public is advised to remain indoors, monitor official weather updates from PAGASA, and stay alert for further announcements from the City Government of Malolos and local school authorities.
