Project GREENBIN Launched During Flag Raising Ceremony

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan โ€” The Schools Division Office of Malolos officially launched Project GREEN BIN during the flag raising ceremony held on August 17, 2026, marking another step toward promoting environmental responsibility and proper waste management in the workplace.

A highlight of the event was the ceremonial distribution of green containers, which will be used for the segregation of food waste. The initiative encourages employees to practice responsible waste disposal and contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable work environment.

During the launch, Ms. Jerrylyn L. Santiago, Administrative Officer V - Administrative Services, explained the objectives and guidelines of Project GREEN BIN. She emphasized the importance of proper food waste segregation in reducing landfill waste, protecting the environment, and fostering a culture of responsibility among employees.

The project received strong support from Schools Division Superintendent Leilani Samson Cunanan, CESO V, and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Fernandina P. Otchengco, PhD, CESO VI, who continue to champion programs that promote environmental stewardship and workplace excellence.

Through Project GREEN BIN, the Schools Division Office of Malolos aims to strengthen sustainable practices and encourage collective action towards building a cleaner, greener, and better tomorrow. ๐ŸŒฑโ™ป๏ธ
