The College of Industrial Technology continues to move forward in strengthening its industry-academe partnership as representatives from Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), through the Toyota Technology Education Program (T-TEP), successfully conducted an inspection visit to the proposed Toyota Technology Center area at the Automotive Technology Department.

The visit was led by TMP T-TEP delegates, Supervisor Ms. Maria Regina Argao, Specialist Ms. Dhube Anne L. Carandang, and General Staff Mr. Robinson B. Papag. Their vibrant presence marked a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between TMP and CIT, as the implementation of the Toyota Technology Education Program draws closer for BulSU CIT students.

During the visit, the T-TEP delegates, together with the CIT Admin and the Automotive Technology Faculty, discussed key initiatives aimed at enhancing automotive education and training. These include advanced instructor development programs, the integration of modern training simulators, and the establishment of a dedicated Toyota Technology Center designed to meet world-class industry standards.

The partnership also envisions expanded on-the-job training (OJT) opportunities, participation in signature industry events and skills competitions, and access to globally recognized learning systems. Through these initiatives, CIT and Toyota Motor Philippines aim to cultivate highly skilled, industry-ready graduates while fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous growth in automotive technology education.
