We are thrilled to have our esteemed speaker, Engr. Romualdo S. Caluag, accompany us on this enlightening journey. Join us later at the highly anticipated Career Development event with the theme "Engineer: What's Next?" (The 29th Edition).

The event is scheduled to commence promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will be held at the COE-Library, 4/F, Natividad Hall.

We encourage you to arrive as early as 8:30 a.m. for the registration at the COE-Library. Once registered, kindly proceed to your section's designated area, where captivating discussions and valuable insights await.

It is a great honor to announce our distinguished speaker, our very own 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐒. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐠.

He is a 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 with a 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 in 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 major in 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 and a 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 in 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 major in 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀. Engr. Caluag is a regular member of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗣), a member of the Institution of Specialist Structural Engineers of the Philippines (𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗣), and an Association of Southeast Asian Nations (𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡) Engineer. Looking at these titles, we can already imagine how experienced and competent he is in the area of Civil Engineering.

Engr. Caluag, also known as 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑩𝒐𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒛, is an alumni of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Manila where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree. He obtained his Master of Science in Civil Engineering major in Structural Engineering degree at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman Campus.

He is currently an associate professor in the CE Department of BulSU and handles the subjects: Calculus 1 and 2, Differential Equations, Statics of Rigid Bodies, Computer-Aided Drafting, Mechanics of Rigid Bodies, Structural Theory 1 and 2, Structural Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Matrix Analysis of Structures, and Prestressed Concrete Design.

His students have experienced his teaching expertise and have acquired life-long knowledge. His talk will certainly provide insight into what will happen after graduation.
