🌻LAMS APPEAL TO ALL PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS🌻
In light of the recent shooting incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga University and the official statement of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), Lord’s Angels Montessori School, Inc. (LAMS) joins the call for greater vigilance and collective responsibility in protecting our children.
As an academic institution, LAMS continues to uphold and strengthen values formation, discipline, respect, responsible digital citizenship, and the safety and well-being of our learners. We are committed to doing our part in guiding our students and helping them make responsible choices both inside and outside the school.
However, we recognize that the protection of our children cannot be achieved by the school alone.
We sincerely appeal to all parents, guardians and stakeholders to closely monitor our children’s activities, interactions, and the content they encounter or engage with on social media and other online platforms. Let us be attentive to warning signs, listen to our children, guide them with understanding, and immediately report any concerning or threatening behavior to the proper authorities.
Let us work hand in hand—school, home, and community—to protect our children, strengthen their values, and help prevent violence before it happens. Together, through vigilance, guidance, open communication, and shared responsibility, we can create a safer environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
LAMS stands with every family in this shared responsibility. Let us act now, before it is too late.
