ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:
π National Capital Region (NCR)
π Abra
π Benguet
π Ilocos Norte
π Ilocos Sur
π La Union
π Pangasinan
π Bataan
π Bulacan
π Nueva Ecija
π Pampanga
π Tarlac
π Zambales
π Batangas
π Cavite
π Laguna
π Rizal
π Occidental Mindoro
Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.
Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.
The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

π’ PUBLIC ADVISORY: Suspension of In-Person Classes | City of Malolos
In light of the expected inclement weather due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and as precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners and school personnel, IN-PERSON CLASSES in ALL LEVELS in both public and private schools are suspended tomorrow, August 19, 2026.
Schools are instructed to implement learning continuity modalities, which must be monitored by school heads and supervisors. This suspension aims to prevent exposure to potential hazards caused by the prevailing weather conditions.
The public is advised to remain indoors, monitor official weather updates from PAGASA, and stay alert for further announcements from the City Government of Malolos and local school authorities.

Suspension of Classes | City of Malolos
In light of the continued inclement weather due to the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, and as precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners and school personnel, CLASSES in ALL LEVELS in both public and private schools in the City of Malolos are hereby suspended tomorrow, August 18, 2026.
The suspension is intended to minimize exposure of learners, teaching, and non-teaching personnel to hazards associated with the prevailing weather conditions.
The public is advised to remain indoors, monitor official weather updates from PAGASA, and stay alert for further announcements from the City Government of Malolos and local authorities.

Due to the slow subsiding of floodwaters brought about by continued rains and elevated high tide levels, IN-PERSON CLASSES in ALL LEVELS, both public and private, are hereby suspended tomorrow, August 14, 2026.
Several schools in the city remain affected by flooding, and the suspension will allow school authorities to check, clean, and ensure the safety and readiness of school facilities and surroundings, as well as protect the safety and well-being of learners and the public, before the resumption of onsite classes.
Schools are instructed to implement learning continuity modalities, which must be monitored by school heads and supervisors.

In light of the continued inclement weather due to enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) which has caused flooding in several areas in the city, and in the interest of public safety, CLASSES in ALL LEVELS, both public and private, are hereby suspended tomorrow, August 11, 2026.
The combined effects of persistent rainfall and elevated tide levels have caused the slow subsiding of floodwaters in low-lying areas, resulting in flooded roads that pose potential risks to the commuting public and school communities.
The public is advised to remain indoors, monitor official weather updates from PAGASA, and stay alert for further announcements from the City Government of Malolos and local school authorities.
