𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: Nagbaba ng direktiba ngayong linggo, ika-23 ng Agosto, na magpapatuloy ang synchronous online classes bilang learning delivery modality sa lahat ng antas at kampus ng Bulacan State University (BulSU) para sa Agosto 24–25.

Ayon sa Office Memorandum No. 109, Series of 2026 ng Office of the University President, ito ay pansamantang kaayusan para sa kaligtasan ng mga estudyante, kaguruan, at mga empleyado na naapektohan pa rin ng iniwang baha ng habagat.

Patuloy naman ang online classes ng mga g**o habang ang mga kawaning naka-Vacation at Sick Leave ay kinakailangang mag-ulat sa opisina maliban lang sa mga apektado rin na inaasahang mag-abiso kaagad para sa alternatibong ayos ng trabaho.

Kasabay nito, mainam pa ring isinasagawa ang inspeksyon sa suplay ng tubig, kuryente, at pangkalahatang kalagayan ng mga silid-aralan, opisina at laboratoryo sa pangunguna ng General Services Office (GSO), katuwang ang Office of the Safety, Security, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (OSSDRRM).

Sa kabila ng pagbuti ng kondisyon sa ilang lugar, mainam na isinasagawa ang pagsusuri sa mga komunidad na apektado pa rin ng habagat; bunsod nito, inaabisuhan ang lahat na manatiling handa at sumubaybay sa mga susunod na anunsyo. | via Maria Etcuban, CS Wizards

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Success is not measured by how many titles we earn but by how far we continue to grow, learn, and make a difference. This month, we celebrate an alumnus whose journey beautifully reflects the spirit of perseverance, lifelong learning, and professional excellence.

We proudly feature 𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗗 𝗟𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗦, 𝗥𝗖𝗵𝗧, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗣𝗙𝗧, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗔, 𝗮 𝗕𝗦 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 2006, whose journey is a wonderful example of how a strong academic foundation can open doors to different fields and create opportunities for lifelong professional growth.

After earning his BS Biology degree in April 2006, Ronald embarked on a career in Research and Development (R&D), gaining valuable experience in the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic industries. His professional journey began at Lloyd Laboratories Inc., where he served as a Senior Product Developer from June 2006 to June 2012, working on food supplement and cosmetic product development.

Today, Ronald continues to grow professionally as a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗽𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, one of the country's major personal care product manufacturers. His work reflects the practical application of scientific knowledge, innovation, research, and product development. Fields where his Biology background continues to make a meaningful contribution.

What makes his journey even more inspiring is his commitment to continuous learning. Beyond his Biology degree, Ronald pursued additional major units and professional qualifications in areas such as Continuing Professional Teacher Education, Food Science, Human Resource Management, and Medical Microbiology.

Through years of study, examination, training, and professional practice, he has earned or qualified for several professional titles and eligibilities:

Among these achievements, his Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) credential is formally evidenced by a certificate issued by the Human Resource Educators’ Association of the Philippines, Inc. (HREAP) after successfully completing the requirements and passing the assessment examination.

Ronald’s story reminds us that graduation is not the end of learning, but the beginning of a greater journey. From a Biology graduate to a researcher, product developer, scientist, educator, and holder of multiple professional credentials, his career reflects curiosity, perseverance, adaptability, and continuous professional growth.

His journey shows how a Biology education can open doors beyond traditional career paths. With determination and continuous learning, one degree can become the foundation for many opportunities.

Sa patuloy na suliraning dulot ng bagyo sa ating bansa, muli nating pinaaalalahanan ang bawat isa na mag-ingat at manatiling handa.
Manatiling alerto at laging maging updated sa mga opisyal na balita at abiso ukol sa kalamidad. Sa ganitong mga pagkakataon, mahalagang unahin ang kaligtasan at maging maagap sa bawat hakbang.

Iwasang lumabas muna ng bahay kung hindi kinakailangan. Takpan at iwasang mabasa ang mga electrical outlet, at itaas ang mga gamit na maaaring masira o maging sanhi ng sakuna. Kung kinakailangang lumikas, huwag mag-atubiling humingi ng tulong at alamin ang pinakamalapit na evacuation center sa inyong lugar.

Huwag din nating kalimutang kumustahin at tiyaking ligtas ang ating mga alagang hayop at iba pang hayop na maaaring malagay sa panganib dahil sa bagyo.

Sa panahon ng kalamidad, ang pagiging handa, alerto, at maalaga ay makatutulong upang maprotektahan ang ating sarili at ang iba.
