SAFETY AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS
SEPTEMBER 18, 2026
Yesterday, our teachers took part in an important Safety and Emergency Response Training as part of our continuing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
We believe that teachers play a vital role in emergency preparedness. Since they are with our students inside the classroom every day, it is important that they know what to do, how to respond, and how to properly guide and care for our Little Icons during emergencies or unexpected incidents.
While our security team and other school personnel have their own important roles in maintaining safety, we also make sure that our teachers are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately when situations arise.
We are truly grateful to our Student Activity Coordinator for providing such a comprehensive and practical training, anchored on the School Safety Orientation conducted by DepEd on August 25, 2026, and in accordance with DepEd Order No. 6, Series of 2026.
Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our School Principal for discussing the schoolโs contingency plan and sharing recommendations on how to handle different situations in an organized, calm, and coordinated manner.
A sincere thank you as well to our Academic Coordinator and Subject Area Coordinator for sharing valuable and insightful topics that will further equip and guide our teachers in the days ahead.
More than a training, this is a reminder that school safety is a shared responsibility. Each one of us has a role to play in creating a safe, prepared, and caring school community.
Together, we continue to learn, prepare, and look after one another, for the safety and well-being of our Little Icons.
