In celebration of Buwan ng mga Katutubo 2026, our teachers proudly wore Indigenous Peoples (IP) attire, showcasing the beauty, diversity, and richness of our indigenous cultures.

More than the vibrant colors and intricate designs, each attire represents a story, identity, tradition, and heritage passed down through generations.

Through this simple yet meaningful celebration, we remind our learners of the importance of respecting, preserving, and taking pride in the culture of our Indigenous Peoples.

May our classrooms continue to be spaces where cultural diversity is celebrated and where every learner’s identity and heritage are valued.

𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻 | 𝗦𝗗𝗦 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗡𝗛𝗦

Nagkaroon ng mabilis ngunit makabuluhang pagbisita si 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐑. 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 sa Ticulon National High School upang personal na tingnan ang kalagayan ng gusali at ang nagpapatuloy na konstruksyon, noong ika-10 ng Agosto 2026.

Kasama si 𝗣𝗦𝗗𝗦 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗝𝗿. at 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀, sa kanyang pag-ikot, sinuri niya ang mga pasilidad upang matiyak na ligtas at maayos ang mga silid-aralan para sa mga mag-aaral.

Sinuri din niya ang progreso ng mga proyekto at binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng agarang pagtatapos upang matugunan ang lumalaking pangangailangan ng komunidad.

Higit pa sa imprastruktura, nakipagpulong si Dr. Jandayan ky Gng. Casis upang talakayin ang mga plano para sa hinaharap ng TNHS — kabilang ang pagpapatibay ng mga programa, suporta sa mag-aaral, at pakikipag-ugnayan sa komunidad tungo sa mas matatag, maunlad at handang institusyon.

Buong puso at dangal na nakikiisa ang Ticulon National High School sa pagdiriwang ng 𝐁𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Sa isinagawang Flag Ceremony, agaw pansin ang mga g**o na nakasuot ng Barong Tagalog at Filipiniana, sa pangunguna ng kanilang Punong G**o na si 𝓜𝓲𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓵𝓮 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓮 𝓒𝓪𝓼𝓲𝓼, bilang tanda ng pagmamahal sa sariling wika at kultura.

Higit pa sa isang selebrasyon, ito ay panawagan na patuloy nating mahalin, gamitin, at pagyamanin ang wikang Filipino—ang wika ng ating pagkakaisa at pagkabansa.

Sa temang “𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗜: 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻,” nawa’y magsilbing lakas ang makabagong teknolohiya upang higit pang palawakin ang kaalaman, patatagin ang ating kultura, at itaguyod ang wikang nagbubuklod sa sambayanang Pilipino.

Ticulon National High School proudly received Lapel Voice Amplifiers from the Department of Education, a valuable initiative that underscores DepEd’s commitment to equipping teachers with tools that enhance classroom communication and safeguard their voices during daily instruction.

The distribution was led by 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀, the school principal, highlighting strong leadership and support for our educators.

With these devices, teachers can deliver lessons with greater clarity and efficiency, ensuring that every learner remains engaged and actively participates in the teaching-learning process.

In accordance with Memorandum Order No. 92, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the Governor of Davao Occidental, Ticulon National High School will resume full face-to-face classes starting Monday, August 3, 2026, following the declaration that school facilities are structurally safe and cleared for occupancy.

We are back to FULL FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES!

The TNHS Faculty ended the month of July right, as they came together for a meaningful 𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝐿𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒜𝒸𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃 𝒞𝑒𝓁𝓁 (𝒮𝐿𝒜𝒞) session yesterday, July 31, 2026 that highlighted the power of collaboration and shared expertise.

With their very own co-teachers as speakers- 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘀 and
𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗴, they delved into the topic: “Crafting Better Tests: The Art of Item Writing for Classroom-Based Assessment.”

The discussion not only guided the teachers in creating clearer and fairer test items but also introduced strategies for designing PISA-like questions — challenging the students to think critically and apply knowledge in real-world contexts.

This engaging session equipped them with practical tools to elevate classroom assessments, ensuring they truly reflect student learning.

It was inspiring to see how collaboration among teachers leads to stronger outcomes for their learners.

Kudos to the dedicated faculty for making this SLAC a success!
