The Institute of Human Service proudly celebrates the Program Excellence Award received during PASEDENGEG 2026, recognizing the outstanding performance of the Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Criminology programs.

Both programs achieved a remarkable 100% Passing Rate, reflecting the dedication of our students, the commitment of our faculty, and the continued efforts of the Institute in providing quality education and preparing competent professionals for their respective fields.

Behind every lesson, activity, requirement, and examination is a teacher who continues to show up, not only to teach, but to guide, encourage, and believe in their students.

To our Criminology faculty, thank you for teaching us that justice is not only about laws and rules. It is also about understanding people, standing for what is right, and using our knowledge with responsibility and integrity.

To our Social Work faculty, thank you for reminding us that service begins with empathy. You have taught us to see beyond situations, to listen before judging, and to recognize the dignity and worth of every person we hope to serve someday.

As future Professionals, we know that the work ahead of us will not always be easy. But because of teachers like you, we are slowly becoming not only more knowledgeable, but also more responsible, compassionate, and prepared to serve others.

To every IHS faculty member, Happy Teachers’ Day! Thank you for being part of the people we are becoming.

The Institute of Human Service (IHS) joined fellow volunteers in the Coastal Clean-Up and Marine Environment Awareness Activity held today, September 24, 2026, along the SPAMAST Beach Shoreline.

In line with International Coastal Cleanup Day 2026, the activity served as a reminder that caring for our environment is also a form of service. Every piece of waste collected and every helping hand showed that meaningful change begins when we choose to act together.

May this remind us that meaningful change begins with collective action. Every hand that helps, every piece of waste collected, and every effort to care for our shores becomes more impactful when we work together. 🌊
