Fishing Village Elementary School Launched Reading Month with the Bida Basa Dance Craze!

On November 10, 2025, following the flag-raising ceremony, Fishing Village Elementary School officially launched its National Reading Month celebration with the lively Bida Basa Dance Craze!

Learners and teachers danced together, filling the school grounds with energy, joy, and a shared love for reading. This vibrant kickoff marked the beginning of a month-long celebration.

Fishing Village Elementary School proudly concluded the Math and Science Month 2025 on September 30, 2025, with the theme: Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future Through Science and Innovation and the Mathematics theme: Mathematics, Arts, and Creativity. Learners demonstrated their skills, talents, and creativity through activities such as creative recycled materials, poster-making contest, Science and Math Quiz Bees, Soduko, and the Math Race.

The highlight of the event was the Mr. & Ms. Trashionista competition, where learners proudly walked on stage wearing costumes made from recycled and reused materials. The contest became a wonderful display of creativity, talent, and confidence, as each participant showcased how waste can be turned into something beautiful and useful. It also reminded everyone of the importance of caring for the environment while enjoying the fun of fashion.

The celebration was successfully led by Science Coordinator Ma’am Ana Maria A. Catigan and Mathematics Coordinator Ma’am Mirasol Gildore, together with District Math Coordinator Ma’am Merlina A. Avenido, and the full support of School Principal Sir Jan Michael G. Titong, along with the dedicated teachers, staff, and supportive parents.

IKA-27 ng AGOSTO 2025 | BUWAN NG WIKA

Matagumpay na naidaos ang Kulminasyon ng Buwan ng Wika sa Fishing Village Elementary School kahapon, Agosto 27, 2025.

Isang patunay na sa kabila ng makabagong panahon ay mas lalong pinagyayaman at pinahahalagahan ng bawat mag-aaral at g**o ang ating wika at kultura. Sa pamamagitan ng mga makabuluhan at malikhaing gawain, higit na naipadama ang kahalagahan ng ating Pambansang Wika at mga Katutubong Wika bilang matibay na pagkakakilanlan ng ating pagka-Filipino.

Kalakip din ng selebrasyon ang pagbibigay-diin sa taunang tema ng Buwan ng Wika na:
“Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.”

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa masigasig na Filipino Coordinator, Ma’am Princess May A. Camporedondo, sa walang sawang suporta ng aming punong-g**o, Sir Jan Michael G. Titong, gayundin sa lahat ng g**o, mag-aaral, at mga magulang na naging katuwang upang maging matagumpay ang pagdiriwang na ito.

Nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ito sa lahat ng mag-aaral ng FVES na patuloy na ipagmalaki at pahalagahan ang ating sariling wika—tanda ng pagiging isang TUNAY NA PILIPINO!

ASEAN Spirit Shines at Fishing Village Elementary School!

On August 11, 2025, the second Monday of the month, teachers and learners of Fishing Village Elementary School took part in the ASEAN Month celebration during the flag raising ceremony with pride and joy.

Guided by this year’s theme, “Inclusivity and Sustainability,” teachers and learners wore vibrant ASEAN-inspired attire, proudly showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Southeast Asia. The event celebrated not only the beauty of traditional clothing but also the values of unity, friendship, and mutual respect among ASEAN member nations.

Special thanks to our School Principal, Sir Jan Michael G. Titong, for his unwavering support; to our Makabansa Coordinator, Ma’am Maria Cecilia A. Batas, for her guidance; and to all the teachers, learners, and parents for their active participation.

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Fishing Village Elementary School ang sabayang paglulunsad ng Buwan ng Wika at Buwan ng ASEAN 2025 na may temang:

📌 Buwan ng Wika: “Paglinang ng Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.”
📌 Buwan ng ASEAN: “Inclusivity and Sustainability”

Ipinamalas ng mga g**o at mag-aaral ang kanilang pagmamahal sa kulturang Pilipino at ASEAN sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng pambansang kasuotan, katutubong kasuotan, at ASEAN. Sa simpleng aktibidad na ito, binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng wika at kultura bilang pundasyon ng ating pagkakakilanlan at pagkakaisa.

🍎 FISHING VILLAGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES NUTRITION MONTH 2025! 🥦

Fishing Village Elementary School joyfully concluded the Nutrition Month Celebration with the theme:
“Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat para sa Lahat!”

This celebration emphasized the importance of proper nutrition, health, and wellness among our learners.

MOOE in Action: Quarter 2 Highlights

Fishing Village Elementary School remains steadfast in its commitment to provide quality education and to foster a nurturing learning environment for all.

Through the strategic and efficient utilization of our MOOE (Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses) funds, we have successfully implemented key projects aligned with our priorities for learner support and school improvement.

Quarter 2 Accomplishments:
✅ Repaired and procured essential supplies for Brigada Eskwela
To ensure smooth and effective school operations at the start of the school year.
✅ Provided school supplies for learners’ activity sheets
Supporting learners’ academic needs through accessible and ready-to-use materials.
✅ Repainted Heroes Park
This project included both structural improvements and landscaping to revitalize the area and create a more inviting space that honors the heroes.
✅ Repainted classrooms, tables and chairs, and flower boxes
Enhanced the physical learning environment to create more vibrant, engaging, and welcoming spaces for learners and teachers alike.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our School Principal, Sir Jan Michael G. Titong for his unwavering commitment; to the entire school community for their continued support and to all the teachers for their time and dedicated efforts. These accomplishments are the result of shared dedication, careful planning, and a collective pursuit of excellence.
