ADVISORY

7 April 2024 - In order to allow learners to complete pending assignments, projects and other requirements, all public schools nationwide shall implement ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES/DISTANCE LEARNING on Monday, 8 April 2024.

Likewise, teaching and non-teaching personnel in all public schools shall not be required to report to their stations.

Finally, private schools shall not be covered by this advisory but shall have the option to implement the same.

Kalamagan, Datu Danwata, Malita D/O – The REVITALIZED PULIS SA BARANGAY (RPSB) is looking to institutionalize the conduct of an annual training that will capacitate not just government employees but, also students/ pupils especially in signal deprived areas.

Last September 24, 2022, TFS of KALAMAGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BOY SCOUTS' AND GIRL SCOUTS' OF THE PHILIPPINES, are among the chosen participants for this year's PNP-RPSB initiative. The said training was for them not just to prepare for the celebration of October's Scouting Month, but also to know how to respond to emergencies even in the midst of mountains.

During the training, PSMS Epifanio Cavan Jr., TEAM LEADER of RPSB DATU DANWATA, said that, "importante jud mag matuto ta unsaon pag panambal ug tama bisan ug naa ta sa bukid gamit lamang ang mga butang na makita satoa palibot," (providing basic life-support services such as applying first aid and CPR-cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the event of emergencies even in far-flung areas are pivotal. We need to know how to use available materials around us to administer FIRST-AID to save lives.)

After the training, certificates and tokens were given to sponsoring agency, teachers, and participants. Reden Cabila, a Grade 5 pupil participant, after receiving his certificate uttered that, "inig abot nako sa balay ma'am kay tudluan nako akoa silingan kung unsa akoa nakat-unan, salamat ani ma'am." (teacher, when I went home I will teach my neighbour about the things that I learned today, thank you teacher.) #

KALAMAGAN MOUNTEACHERS GOES FISHING.

"No man is an island," as the head teacher , Arcadio G. Amor Jr, of FISHING VILLAGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, emphasized the importance of working together as a team, in building effective SBM amidst pandemic; during his speech last April 5, 2021, throughout SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT BENCHMARKING FOR MALITA WEST DISTRICT.


Fishing Village Elementary School, Malita North District, was SBM LEVEL III (Advanced) division validated so, Malita West District initiated SBM BENCHMARKING and TFS OF KALAMAGAN mounteachers, plucked up the courage to join such opportunity.

During the said event, we were taught strategies and techniques on how to implement SBM efficiently. Kalamagan mounteachers, learned the importance on how to move to a snail's pace, to get good mileage out of something.

We were challenged by the belief that we're on solid ground so there's no room for hesitation, mounteachers can also fish in mountains and to be outside the realm of possibility we must accept
the challenge. #
