Solving multiplication verbally :
Example: 35 x 16= ?
Solution: a) Determine which Even number is,
= 16
b) get the half of even #16 equals 8;
and double the other multiplicand
35 equals 70,....and so on.
35 x 16 = ?
70 x 8 = ?
140 x 4 = ?
280 x 2 = 560
