at the 2026 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, held at Vela Hotel, Legazpi City, Albay, on September 9–10, 2026.

They stood as the sole presenters from Mindanao at this significant regional conference, carrying the voice of our region with distinction.

Their work stands as a testament to their diligence, compassionate inquiry, and commitment to centering human experiences in healthcare research, values that lie at the very heart of nursing. 🩺

This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our college administration and the invaluable mentorship and guidance of their research adviser, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐃. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚, whose expertise and steadfast support guided them throughout their research journey.

May this milestone inspire more aspiring nurse-scholars to pursue research that honors lived experiences and contributes to meaningful and lasting change in our communities.

Congratulations! Your hard work, dedication, and excellence make us incredibly proud!

Beyond presenting a research paper, this moment represents the continuing journey of bringing Filipino scholarship, sociological inquiry, and local academic perspectives into wider global conversations.

The presentation was made even more meaningful as Kenneth D. Secretaria and Dr. Harley C. Bretaña, Chairperson of the Department of Sociology, University of Santo Tomas, came together to present their collaborative research to an international academic audience.

Congratulations, Sir Kenneth! 👏
May this be another step toward more research, more conversations, and more opportunities to bring our scholarship to the world.

San Isidro College is proud of you!
