Matagumpay na nagtapos ang 𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐆 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐒𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐒𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, ang pagdiriwang ng 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨, na ginaganap tuwing huling linggo ng Hulyo bilang pagkilala sa mayamang pamana ng musikang Pilipino. Bilang sentro ng pananaliksik, dokumentasyon, at pangangalaga ng kasaysayan at kultura ng Bukidnon, ang Bukidnon Studies Center ay patuloy na nagsisilbing haligi sa pagpapaunlad, pangangalaga, at pagpapalaganap ng musikang Bukidnon at iba pang katutubong musikang Pilipino. Sa pakikipagtulungan nito sa 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐔) at iba pang yunit ng Bukidnon State University, naging mas makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng mas malalim na pag-unawa sa mga mag-aaral tungkol sa kahalagahan ng musikang Pilipino bilang bahagi ng ating pambansang identidad at pamana.

Sa pagtatapos ng 𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐆 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐒𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, muling pinagtibay na ang musika ay higit pa sa isang sining ng pag-awit at pagtugtog. Ito ay isang buhay na pamana na nag-uugnay sa ating kasaysayan, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino. Sa pamamagitan ng mga koleksiyon, pananaliksik, at pagbabahagi ng kaalaman tungkol sa katutubong musika at mga tradisyunal na instrumentong pangmusika ng Bukidnon, patuloy na isinusulong ng Bukidnon Studies Center ang pagpapayabong ng ating kulturang musikal para sa kasalukuyan at sa mga susunod pang henerasyon.

Mas lalong umigting ang selebrasyon sa 𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐠𝐢 𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 sa pamamagitan ng kahanga-hangang pagtatanghal ng 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐒𝐔 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 at 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐒𝐔 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝.

Pinuno ng kanilang makapangyarihang tugtugin, kahanga-hangang musikalidad, at masiglang enerhiya ang entablado, na nagbigay ng kakaibang sigla at inspirasyon sa buong pamayanang BukSU. Ang bawat himig ay sumasalamin sa husay, dedikasyon, at pagmamahal ng ating mga musikero sa sining at kulturang Pilipino.

Sa pagdiriwang ng 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨, patuloy nating kinikilala ang musika bilang mahalagang bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan, kasaysayan, at pagkakaisa bilang isang bansa. Ang 𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐆 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐒𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 ay hindi lamang isang serye ng mga pagtatanghal, kundi isang pagdiriwang ng talento, kultura, at pamana ng bawat Pilipino.

Maraming salamat sa BukSU Brass Band, BukSU Live Band, mga g**o, mag-aaral, at sa lahat ng nakiisa at nagbigay-buhay sa pagdiriwang na ito. Sama-sama nating ipagpatuloy ang pagpapayabong at pagpapahalaga sa musikang tunay na atin.

Naging tampok sa konsyerto ang mga natatanging pagtatanghal ng mga mag-aaral mula sa 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 at 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, na buong husay na ipinamalas ang kanilang talento, disiplina, at pagmamahal sa musikang Pilipino.

Hindi lamang musika ang umalingawngaw, kundi maging ang tuwa, pagmamalaki, at inspirasyong nasilayan sa mga magulang at pamilyang dumalo upang suportahan ang kanilang mga anak. Ang bawat palakpakan at ngiti ay naging patunay na ang musika ay tunay na nagbubuklod sa pamilya, paaralan, at komunidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng 𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐆 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐒𝐔, patuloy nating ipinagdiriwang ang mayamang pamana ng musikang Pilipino, pinayayabong ang ating pagkakakilanlan, at binibigyang-pugay ang mga kabataang musikero na siyang magpapatuloy sa ating kultura at sining.

Game. Set. Wellness!

Energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship took center stage as BukSU employees gathered for the BukSU Employee Pickleball Wellness Day on June 24, 2026, organized by the Culture and the Arts, Sports and Development Unit (CASDevU) under the Office of the Vice President for Culture, Arts, Sports, and Student Services (OVPCASSS).

Through the Beginner and Novice categories, participants embraced the spirit of friendly competition while strengthening camaraderie, promoting physical wellness, and celebrating the joy of an active lifestyle. The event served as a meaningful reminder that wellness is best achieved when we move, connect, and grow together as one BukSU community.

Bukidnon State University (BukSU), led by the Office of the Vice President for Culture, Arts, Sports, and Student Services (OVPCASSS), brought creativity to the forefront in its National Arts Month celebration at the Mini Theater on March 18, 2026, Wednesday.
The event showcased a dynamic lineup of student performances including Balak Binisaya, Deklamasyon, dramatic monologues, contemporary duo acts and dynamic duo performances, demonstrating the breadth and depth of talent within the university.
Highlighting the richness of artistic expression at BukSU, the celebration concluded with an awarding ceremony honoring outstanding performers and artists. The recognition underscored the university’s commitment to fostering a culture where creativity and artistic excellence thrive.
