JUST IN: Officially awarded today were the Php 2500 cash prize for the student artists and the Certificate of Appreciation for Bukidnon State University (represented by BukSU NSTP) as a participant in the NICA (National Intelligence Coordinating Agency) and 4th ID (Infantry Division) of the Philippine Army sponsored MURAL MAKING event, "An Information, Education, and Communication Campaign on the WPS (West Philippine Sea): Nagkakaisang Kapuluan, Panatag na Karagatan," held last November 18, 2025.

The aim of the campaign is to instill in the youth the awareness, understanding, and appreciation regarding the Philippines' challenges in asserting its sovereign rights and jurisdiction over the WPS. Furthermore, it also aims to expose disinformation and to counter foreign influence as well as counter any moves that threaten our national security and sovereignty.

Representing BukSU were student-artists MALHIN, JANINIA LYNESS (BSBIO I), VISTAL, VALERIE (BSBIO I), UY, CLINT JOHN (BSEMC-DAT I), CUARES, JUNNA (BSE Science Major III), and DOLLOSO, JESS VINCENT (BSE English Major III). Great job dear students! We are all proud of you!
