This Women’s Month, we celebrate not just moments but movements.

From our dedicated officers working hand in hand to create meaningful and beautiful decorations that reflect the true essence of a woman and to the powerful mural entries from different clubs and organizations in the 𝑪𝑶𝑬-𝑮𝑨𝑫 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 𝑾𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑴𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 2026 —each stroke, each color, and each concept speaks loudly of strength, resilience, and empowerment.

These artworks remind us that women are not just defined by labels, they are forces of change, leaders, creators, and visionaries capable of achieving anything they set their hearts on.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing judges for sharing their time, talent, and expertise in making this event a success.

2026 Women’s Month Celebration – Kick-Off Program

The COE Gender and Development Officers and Adviser actively participated in the 2026 Women’s Month Celebration Kick-Off Program held on March 11, 2026, at the Bukidnon State University – COB Quadrangle. The event gathered deans, faculty members, stakeholders, student leaders, and students who came together to celebrate and support gender equality and women empowerment.

This meaningful gathering reminded us that BukSU stands for respect, dignity, and equality for all. Women’s Month is not only about wearing purple or ribbons that symbolize women, but more importantly, it is about recognizing that women matter and deserve to be respected in all spaces of society.

At Bukidnon State University, we continue to empower voices, promote equality, and strengthen our commitment to gender and development.

Women who lead with purpose continue to shape communities with strength, compassion, and vision. This Women’s Month, we proudly recognize the inspiring women of the COE – Gender and Development Unit of Bukidnon State University, whose dedication and service promote respect, equality, and empowerment within our academic community.

Behind every initiative that uplifts others are women who lead with courage and commitment. Their efforts remind us that empowerment is not just a word; it is a continuous action of creating spaces where every voice is valued and every woman is respected.
Women are not defined by limitations. They are leaders, educators, advocates, and changemakers who rise above challenges and continue to pave the way for future generations.

"Empowered minds, inclusive hearts!"

Held at the Conference Room, 4th Floor, COE Building, EDUHUB, the SOGIESC Orientation for all 3rd-year students was a meaningful success. With the theme “Educate to Empower: Understanding that SOGIESC Matters”, our guest speaker, Ms. Shaunell Mary J. Sayson, delivered an eye-opening and inspiring talk that emphasized the importance of awareness, respect, and inclusivity in education.

The 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 ended successfully today.

Speakers from the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 (𝐏𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐓) shared their expertise on healthcare and proper prevention practices. The objectives were clearly achieved, Misconceptions were cleared, and Deep Understanding was fostered among the Students of Bachelors of Secondary Education.

Together, let’s take what we’ve learned today and use it to create a safer, more inclusive world - one where HIV is understood, prevented, and treated without fear or judgement.

The 𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝐴𝑠𝑠𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝑀𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 𝑇𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑛𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑠 (PAMET) will be conducting an 𝐻𝐼𝑉 𝐴𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 and 𝑇𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑚 for all first-year BSE students across the five specializations on 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 19,2024, at the 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙡𝙡, 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙧, 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙭 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨.

This is a valuable opportunity to come together, raise awareness, and help reduce the stigma surrounding HIV. Let’s take proactive steps toward promoting health and wellness in our community. Lets make a difference, one step at a time!
