Can-Ayan Integrated School It is 6 kilometers away from the City proper of Malaybalay going to the west part of the city towards Upper Pulangi.

SCHOOL PROFILE
The School is the first integrated school (Elementary and High School in one campus under one Principal) in the Division of Malaybalay City and the fourth (4th) in Region X. But before its integration, the elementary department was established last June 1958 with Mr. Yolujio Tundanay as the first teacher with 26 pupils. The original school site was first established in Sitio Encalbog a two (2) kilometer distance from the present Barangay proper. Due to its remote location and the community people want a wider and space; they transferred to the barangay site now. The old Punong Barangay together with his kagawads decided to have an area intended for the school as school reservation site (the school site now). The total land area of the school site is 4.06 hectares. During its transfer, the government constructed a 1-unit, 3-classroom Gavaldon Building for the elementary department. Pupils’ population increased as the years go by and the number of teachers also increased. Infrastructures and other improvements were visible in the school under the different administrators.
