🌕Full Moon Chants and Story Telling — May 30, 2026
“Teteremen wey Ulagingen te Tuker”
Under the moonlight, we listen, remember, and share.
Bring anything you wish for our communal dinner — food, drink, or story — and let the fire carry our voices into the future.
“Diralem te bulan, pemineg kew, tanudtanud kew, wey paambit kew.

Last Saturday, our young learners embraced the wisdom of the Menubu People by learning the history of their traditional clothing — its many forms, the occasions it is worn, and the meaning it carries. Teaching this knowledge is essential, so that the indigenous youth may carry themselves with dignity and understand the living spirit woven into their attire.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to the Xavier Science Foundation for providing new learning materials thoughtfully designed for our indigenous learners, along with toys that brought joy to their hearts. We also honor the benevolent individuals who generously shared their resources to provide snacks for the children.
May the ancestors bless all who have contributed to nurturing the minds and spirits of our youth.

Today’s class began with pangapug — grounding us in taste, texture, and memory. As we named its ingredients, our elders shared how inapugan sustained our ancestors through the hardships of WWII, reminding us that ritual is also resilience. In that moment, we guided a young mind toward decolonization, opening the path of indigenous spirituality in ways they could grasp. We closed by letting them express their learning through symbols — small marks of continuity between past and future, proof that culture lives on in each child’s imagination. 🌿✨

After more than a decade of dreaming and manifesting, and in tribute to Datu Ampuan Jeodoro Sulda, our very own School of Living Tradition has finally opened.
Today, nearly thirty children gathered — far beyond the ten we first expected. Thirty young hearts ready to continue our culture, not as performance or stage show, but as living tradition. They are the future of our people, the continuation of our tribes’ heritage.
We know challenges lie ahead, but we also know the Apus never forsake those who strive to carry their legacy forward. This is a pure people’s movement, born from community strength and ancestral blessing.
To everyone who supported this journey: thank you. We will not name you one by one, for we believe the Apus have already written your names in their memory.
