Celebrating 500 Days to Centennial!
We are thrilled to announce the successful milestone on our journey to the Centennial celebration! The College of Business and the College of Nursing in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Office, joined forces to mark the 500-day countdown with a remarkable event - a Donation and Medical Drive Activity! This was held last October 25, 2023 at Brgy. Imbayao, Malaybalay city, one of the most vibrant and close-knit communities within Malaybalay City.
Our incredible BukSU community came together to support this initiative, making it an unforgettable day. Here's a glimpse of the highlights:
Medical Drive: Our nursing students assisted the BMS Medical Laboratory team to provide free blood typing and x-ray services to our senior community members. It was an exceptional opportunity to promote well-being and health awareness.
Donation Drive: The College of Business organized a heartwarming donation drive, collecting essential school supplies for the Imbayao Elementary and High School Students and families who are in need. Our faculty, staff, and students, as well as the Alumni Association generously contributed, making a significant impact on the lives of others.
These activities aim to showcase the university's dedication to community service, social responsibility, health promotion, unity, and a meaningful mark to the countdown to the Centennial anniversary. It's a way to celebrate while giving back and leaving a positive impact on the community.
We extend our sincerest appreciation to all those who played integral roles in the successful ex*****on of this event:
- The College of Business, under the leadership of Dr. Nestor Cepriano, and their dedicated team, including Ms. Irene Gambe and Alumni Focal Persons: Mr. John Vincent Gemilga, Mr. Marven Jan Nadela, Mr. John Kirk Patrick Cabigas, Ms. Cynthia Pontillas, and Ms. Jiffamae Gelacio.
- The College of Nursing, guided by their Dean, Dr. Ma. Algerica Cuenco, and their Alumni Coordinator, Ms. Kristy Mia Rodriguez.
- The BMS Medical Laboratory team for their selfless support, traveling all the way to Brgy. Imbayao just to offer free medical services.
- The Alumni Association, led by Dr. Victor M. Barroso for their generous donations to over 300 young and youth learners.
- The Department of Education, Malaybalay Division, under the supervision of Dr. Evernold C. Berial, along with the School Heads of Imbayao Elementary and High School.
- Finally, our heartfelt thanks to the entire BukSU Administration, led by our esteemed University President, Dr. Joy M. Mirasol. Your collective efforts have made this event a resounding success, and we are truly grateful for your dedication and support.
