𝐒𝐈𝐂-𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐘, 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓-𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲–𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗜𝗖-𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗) successfully conducted its 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗦𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺, bringing together administrators, teachers, parents, and learners to celebrate academic achievements and school-community partnership.

The assembly served as an opportunity to recognize learners' accomplishments during the first term while strengthening collaboration between the school and families in supporting student growth and development.

The program formally opened with welcome remarks delivered by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗔. 𝗢𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘆, 𝗠𝗔, 𝗝𝗛𝗦 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀, who expressed gratitude to the parents and guardians for their continued support of the school's educational mission.

Adding excitement to the event were intermission performances by the 𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, champions of the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗛𝗶𝗽-𝗛𝗼𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻; 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗥. 𝗘𝗴𝗼𝘁, 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻; and 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, who captivated the audience with his vocal solo performance. Their talents delighted the audience and added vibrancy to the celebration.

A message of inspiration was delivered by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗛. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗻, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, 𝗗𝗕𝗠, 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, who emphasized that recognition goes beyond academic performance. He highlighted the importance of good character, values formation, and responsible citizenship, reminding learners that true excellence is reflected not only in grades but also in how they live out the values they learn. He likewise encouraged parents to continue being active partners in their children's formation, emphasizing that character development begins at home and is strengthened through the shared efforts of families and the school.

One of the highlights of the assembly was the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, led by the 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗔𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, which honored learners for their achievements and commendable performance during the term.

The gathering also featured office reports from 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀, and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖. 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗮, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗠, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀' 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. In addition, the 𝗚𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗔 presented its report, including the presentation and approval of the 𝗚𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗔 𝗕𝘆-𝗟𝗮𝘄𝘀.

Following the assembly, parents and teachers proceeded with the 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, providing an avenue for meaningful discussions on learners' academic progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. The activity further strengthened the partnership between home and school in promoting holistic learner development.

The successful conduct of the First Term Assembly reflected SIC-IBED's commitment to fostering academic excellence, recognizing learner achievements, and nurturing strong collaboration among educators, parents, and students in the pursuit of 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝙈𝘼𝙇𝘼𝙔𝘽𝘼𝙇𝘼𝙔 𝘾𝙄𝙏𝙔—San Isidro College–Integrated Basic Education (𝗦𝗜𝗖-𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗) marked another milestone as three of its educators received outstanding awards during the𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀’ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀’ 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅, 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗔. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮, 𝗘𝗱.𝗗., 𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹, was recognized as 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 – 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆, highlighting her leadership and contributions to the advancement of basic education.

Joining her among the awardees were 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗦. 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼, 𝗟𝗣𝗧,
who received the 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 – 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟮, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆, and 𝗝𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗖. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, who was named 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 – 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟯, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆.

The three distinctions brought pride to the 𝗦𝗜𝗖-𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, reflecting the dedication of its school leaders and teachers to instructional excellence, learner development, professional growth, and service.

The recognition formed part of the 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀’ 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, a major highlight of the inaugural congress that honored outstanding teaching and non-teaching personnel, school heads, and education stakeholders from the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

The congress also provided educators with professional learning opportunities through sessions on 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, bringing together education leaders and personnel from across the province.

For SIC-IBED, the three awards serve not only as individual achievements but also as a testament to the collective efforts of its faculty, personnel, learners, parents, administrators, and stakeholders in 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The recognition further inspires the Isidran community to sustain a culture of excellence and service while remaining faithful to its mission of 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 of 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲.

The seminar gathered guidance associates, prefects of students, educators, and school personnel from various Catholic schools across the Diocese of Malaybalay to deepen their understanding of mental health concerns and su***de prevention strategies among learners. Through meaningful discussions and learning sessions, participants were equipped with practical knowledge and skills that can help foster safe, supportive, and responsive school environments.

The morning session featured 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗣. 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗿, 𝗣𝗵𝗗, 𝗥𝗚𝗖, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, School Guidance Counselor of SAIT/SIC, who shared valuable insights on recognizing mental health concerns, providing appropriate support, and strengthening intervention efforts within educational settings. In the afternoon, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗭. 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮, Dean of Tagoloan Community College and Board Member of the Philippine Mental Health Association Region 10, discussed essential approaches to su***de prevention, mental health advocacy, and community-based support systems.

The program also provided opportunities for participants to engage in open forums, share experiences, and reflect on the important role of educators and student services personnel in safeguarding the well-being of young people.

More than a professional development activity, the seminar served as a reminder that mental health awareness is a collective responsibility. By fostering understanding, compassion, and timely intervention, school communities can become spaces where every learner feels supported, valued, and empowered to seek help when needed.

As BUACS continues to champion student welfare and holistic formation, initiatives such as this reinforce the commitment of Catholic schools to nurture not only academic excellence but also the emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being of every learner.

With determination, creativity, and a passion for truth, the student-journalists of 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 – 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗜𝗖-𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗) proudly represented the institution at the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗗𝗦𝗣𝗖) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. The annual gathering brought together participants from more than 𝟮𝟬 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆, providing a platform for young journalists to showcase their talents in various writing and media categories.

The SIC-IBED delegation delivered an impressive performance, earning several top placements in both the 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 and 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 divisions.

More than a competition, the conference served as an avenue for young journalists to sharpen their skills, strengthen their commitment to truth and responsible journalism, and learn from fellow campus writers across the division.

𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐄𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐂 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

The 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 – 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗜𝗖-𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗) officially commenced 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲with a solemn 𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 held at the 𝗦𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 of San Isidro College.

The Holy Mass was presided over by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗛. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗻, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, 𝗗𝗕𝗠, President of San Isidro College, who reminded the Isidran community of the importance of faith, unity, and sportsmanship as they embark on this year’s intramural festivities.

Gathering students, faculty, staff, and administrators, the celebration served as a meaningful beginning to the much-anticipated event, entrusting all activities, participants, and competitions to God’s guidance and blessings. Through prayer and thanksgiving, the SIC-IBED community reaffirmed that excellence in sports is best achieved when grounded in faith, discipline, and respect for one another.

As the week unfolds, may the spirit of camaraderie, integrity, and healthy competition continue to inspire every Isidran to give their best both on and off the playing field.

𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐀 𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐎, 𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐎𝐒 𝐒𝐀 𝐒𝐈𝐂-𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐔𝐖𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐊𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, taimtim na nakiisa ang komunidad ng 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 – 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗜𝗖-𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗗) sa pagdaraos ng 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 noong 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Pinangunahan ni 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗠𝘀𝗴𝗿. 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻 ang banal na pagdiriwang, na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pananampalataya, pagkakaisa, at pagmamahal sa bayan bilang mahahalagang pagpapahalagang dapat taglayin ng bawat Pilipino. Sa kanyang homiliya, binigyang-diin niya na sa gitna ng mabilis na pagbabago ng makabagong panahon, mga hamon sa lipunan, at pag-usbong ng teknolohiya, nananatiling mahalaga ang pananalig sa Diyos bilang gabay sa ating mga pagpapasya, pagkilos, at pakikitungo sa kapwa.

Sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng wikang Filipino sa mga pagbasa, panalangin, at pagninilay, higit na naipamalas ang kagandahan ng ating pambansang wika bilang tulay ng pananampalataya at daluyan ng mga pagpapahalagang nagbubuklod sa atin bilang isang sambayanan.

Dinaluhan ng mga mag-aaral, g**o, at kawani ng paaralan ang nasabing pagdiriwang bilang pagpapakita ng pakikiisa sa layunin ng Buwan ng Wika na paigtingin ang pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino at sa ating mayamang pamana.

Higit pa sa isang gawaing panrelihiyon, ang 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 ay nagsilbing paalala na ang wika, pananampalataya, at pagmamahal sa bayan ay magkakaugnay na salik sa paghubog ng isang makabayan, responsable, at maka-Diyos na mamamayan. Sa gitna ng mga pagbabago at hamon ng makabagong panahon, ang pananalangin at pagtitiwala sa Diyos ay nananatiling matibay na gabay upang harapin ang mga pagsubok nang may pag-asa at layunin.

Sa patuloy na pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, nawa’y manatiling buhay sa puso ng bawat Isidran ang pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika, kultura, at pananampalatayang nagbubuklod sa atin bilang isang sambayanan.
