BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY ROTC Unit
On 10 May 2026, the BUKSU ROTCU conducted marksmanship activities, including weapon familiarization, actual firing exercises, and a comprehensive camp tour at the 403rd Brigade area.
This activity aims to introduce cadets to the proper handling, operation, and care of standard service fi****ms, while strictly instilling safety protocols and discipline. Through familiarization firing, cadets learn correct shooting fundamentals β such as proper aiming, breathing control, trigger squeeze, and stable firing positions β building their confidence and competence.
Beyond technical skills, this training develops a deep sense of responsibility, obedience to commands, and respect for weapons as vital instruments of duty. Combined with the camp tour, it broadens their understanding of military facilities, unit operations, and the environment where service is rendered.
Overall, this activity lays the essential foundation of military proficiency, strengthens their character, and prepares them for their role as future defenders of peace and security.

The Bukidnon State University ROTC Unit extends its recognition to all officers, basic cadets, and cadettes whose dedication and efforts were clearly demonstrated during this yearβs inspection.
During the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2026 which was held at BUKSU ANNEX CAMPUS with the inspection team led by COL REY P PASCO GSC (INF) PA, Chairperson of RAATI, cadets exemplified a high level of training and preparedness. From ceremonial drills and tactical maneuvers to first aid, map reading, knot tying, and weapons assembly, each performance reflected discipline, resilience, and teamwork developed through the ROTC program.
Special acknowledgment is given to the affiliated units of Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) who performed the company drill, showcasing precision, unity, and discipline. Likewise, the Pangantucan Bukidnon Community College (PBCC) cadets demonstrated their tactical readiness through the Small Unit Tactics (SUT), embodying the spirit of adaptability and coordination in the field.
Beyond the drills and formations, this experience represents something deeperβthe strengthening of character, the building of discipline, and the commitment to serve with integrity. Every step taken in unison speaks of sacrifice, perseverance, and a shared purpose greater than oneself.
This is more than compliance.
This is service.
This is honor.
And in every formation stood today, we are reminded that true leadership is forged not only in moments of command, but in the willingness to serve beyond oneself.
Honor. Patriotism. Duty.
