COB Graduands,

As we prepare for the Commencement Exercises, please be guided by the following reminders to ensure a smooth and orderly graduation ceremony:

• Arrive at the venue at least one (1) hour before the scheduled assembly time (11:00 AM) for line formation and final instructions.

• Wear the prescribed graduation attire properly and neatly. Graduands are encouraged to observe proper grooming and appropriate attire underneath the toga.

• Bring only essential personal items. Avoid bringing bulky bags, valuables, or unnecessary belongings.

• Observe proper decorum throughout the ceremony. Graduands are expected to maintain professionalism and respect during the academic procession, awarding of diplomas, and recessional.

• Keep mobile phones on silent mode during the ceremony.

• Stay hydrated and take care of yourself during the ceremony.

Don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle, as the use of single-use plastic containers is prohibited within the venue in support of the University's sustainability initiatives.

Jannah Vebs Balaman graduates from Bukidnon State University with a 1.18 General Weighted Average and the highest academic distinction the university can confer: Summa Cum Laude.

This Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate becomes the first summa cm laude produced by the program after many decades, adding her name to a very short list in the university's history.

Based on available records from the University Registrar, the previous summa cm laude graduates were Beverly Badajos-Bicar, who completed the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1985, and Chona Estavilla Plasos, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree in 1991.

As the days until the Bukidnon State University (BukSU) 2026 Commencement Exercises wane, our graduating students will soon take the stage and embark on new journeys as proud embodiments of the BukSU DASIG spirit.

Come and bear witness to this moment of taking flight at the Bukidnon Cultural and Sports Complex Gymnasium on June 19, 2026.

The 2026 Commencement Exercises will be held in two sessions. The morning session (6:30 AM to 12:00 NN) will celebrate graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Nursing (CON), and College of Technologies (COT).

The afternoon session (12:30 PM to 6:00 PM) will honor graduates from the College of Business (COB), College of Education (COE), and College of Public Administration and Governance (CPAG).

First and foremost, thank you for believing and being with us, College of Business. We are very grateful for your support and participation in our programs and activities. This achievement is not just for us; this is for the people of the College of Business.

Our deepest gratitude goes to everyone who made these possible. Thank you so much, Dr. Donna G. Tilanduca, our college dean, for your guidance and support of our organization.
