It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the second Bukidnon Parliamentary Debate Open with the theme, “Kabataan In Action Today: Debating to Develop Socities”, this December 11-12, 2020. The BPDO is a debate tournament committed to give voices to the youth of Bukidnon - in order to empower them into becoming the pioneers of change. Especially in these trying times, we aim to provide our youth with a platform to express themselves through discourse in order to articulate their opinions and allow them to expose themselves to the global, national, and local issues.

Utilizing Discord™ - an online teleconferencing application software, adjudicators and debaters will compete in five preliminary rounds, where the top eight teams competing in the open-breaks, and the top eight high-school teams will advance to the final rounds. This will be done in order to comply with the social-distancing protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for discourse. The server invitation link will be sent on Phase 2 of registration. In addition, as a special rule for this online tournament, participants will be required to keep their camera on for all rounds in order to prevent unethical behavior during the tournament proper.
