𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮 | 𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

The San Isidro College – School of Nursing, in partnership with Bethel Baptist Hospital, Inc. (BBHI), successfully conducted Day 2 of its Hospital Orientation on March 31, 2026 at MMC1, San Isidro College.

The activity was participated in by Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 nursing students as part of their preparation for clinical exposure and professional practice in the hospital setting.

The second day of the orientation featured insightful discussions from the BBHI nursing team, including Jadee M. Faunillan, RN, who presented the overview, history, and services rendered by BBHI; Maria Theresa S. Ruiz, RN, who discussed the hospital’s mission, vision, and core values; and Ellen B. Aguilar, RN, who shared the institution’s policies and guidelines for student nurses.

Through this activity, the School of Nursing continues to reinforce the values of competence, discipline, and professionalism among its future healthcare workers.

The SIC School of Nursing extends its sincere appreciation to Bethel Baptist Hospital, Inc. for its continued support in the clinical formation of student nurses.

Level 2, 3, and 4 student nurses from San Isidro College School of Nursing successfully completed Day 1 of their Hospital Orientation Program held on March 30, 2026, at the SMRM Gymnasium of San Isidro College.

The first day of the two-day activity focused on orientation for Malaybalay Polymedic General Hospital Incorporated (MPGHI), where students were introduced to the hospital’s nursing service organizational structure and overall operations. The session provided a foundational understanding of healthcare systems and the vital role of nurses within the institution.

Discussions also covered nursing affiliation policies and guidelines, equipping students with the necessary knowledge of hospital expectations, protocols, and professional conduct. Key topics such as infection prevention and control, hospital waste management, electronic documentation and medication processes, and administration safety were emphasized to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Esteemed healthcare professionals, including Flora May P. Joven, April Vanessa A. Lagsa, Qamarah M. Rubio, and Jebe J. Balbutin, shared their expertise, reinforcing the importance of competence, responsibility, and adherence to clinical standards.

The first day of the orientation marked a significant step in preparing student nurses to confidently enter the clinical setting, guided by knowledge, skills, and a commitment to compassionate care.
