𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

More than 300 practice teachers pledged their commitment as 𝐺𝑙𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑙 𝐶𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑛𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝐸𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 advocates and future educators during the Completion Ceremony held on May 16, 2026, at the SLS Gymnasium, following the successful completion of the 𝗚𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝟭𝟬𝟭 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲.

The activity was organized through the initiative of the BukSU GCED Focal Person, Ms. Desiree A. Barroso, with the assistance and support of Dr. Juliet L. Pacursa and fellow GCED advocates who contributed to the success of the event.

The ceremony served as a meaningful affirmation of the participants’ dedication to promoting global citizenship and nurturing a just, compassionate, peaceful, and sustainable world through education.

𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐇𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬

The 9th Senior High School Commencement Exercises was conducted on May 13, 2026, as a celebration of the successful conclusion of Senior High School education by the 𝟴𝟲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The ceremony featured the inspirational message of the commencement speaker, 𝐴𝑡𝑡𝑦. 𝐻𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑧 𝐺𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑛 𝑦 𝐿𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑜 𝑉𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑢𝑒𝑣𝑎, who encouraged the graduates to strive for excellence and prepare for their future endeavors.

Aligned with the theme, “𝐹𝑈𝑇𝑈𝑅𝐸-𝑅𝐸𝐴𝐷𝑌 𝐵𝑈𝐾𝑆𝑈: 𝐴𝐶𝐻𝐼𝐸𝑉𝐸 𝐸𝑥𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝐴𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝐼𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, 𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝐺𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠,” the ceremony highlighted the school’s commitment to developing empowered and globally competitive learners. The commencement exercises also recognized the hard work and academic success of the graduates as they transition to higher education and other future endeavors.

On May 13, 2026, the Secondary Laboratory School conducted the 11th Junior High School Moving-Up Ceremony in honor of the 𝟰𝟳 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 who successfully completed their Junior High School education. The occasion was highlighted by the presence of the keynote speaker, 𝐴𝑡𝑡𝑦. 𝑃𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑖𝑒 𝐽𝑎𝑛𝑒 𝑄. 𝐵𝑖𝑛𝑎ℎ𝑜𝑛, who shared words of inspiration and encouragement to the students and attendees during the program.

Anchored on the theme,“𝐹𝑈𝑇𝑈𝑅𝐸-𝑅𝐸𝐴𝐷𝑌 𝐵𝑈𝐾𝑆𝑈: 𝐴𝐶𝐻𝐼𝐸𝑉𝐸 𝐸𝑥𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝐴𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒 𝐼𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛, 𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝐺𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠,” the ceremony highlighted the institution’s commitment to nurturing future-ready learners who embody excellence, innovation, and leadership. The activity also served as a meaningful recognition of the students’ perseverance accomplishments throughout their Junior High School journey as they prepare for the next phase of their education.

𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒

On May 12, 2026, the Tribute to Parents was held at SLS Gymnasium to honor the parents and guardians whose sacrifices and prayers carried the completers and graduates through every challenge.

𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐒𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐒

The Thanksgiving Services were conducted on May 12, 2026, in honor of the completers and graduates. The mass was presided by Msgr. Cirilo S. Sajelan and the service was facilitated by Ptr. Keziar P. Resmeros.
