On behalf of Kalasungay NHS students and teachers, we extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated SK Chairwoman Ma'am Jessa Roshein B. Meliston and to her fellow SK members for organizing the meaningful Youth Symposium on Teenage Pregnancy, Mental Health, and HIV Awareness held on July 18, 2025. This program was more than just an event—it was an eye-opener that gave us important lessons that we will carry with us for life.
We also sincerely thank Ms. Frutelyn Z. Vicente, Mr. Marlon John T. Yongco, R.N., Mr. Roger A. Gamba, and Ms. Shelleme O. Macatol, R.N for your engaging presentations and interactive discussions. You helped make the topics easier to understand, and your words gave us the courage to take better care of ourselves and support others around us.
Your commitment to educating the youth and guiding us with compassion and truth is truly inspiring. Thank you for taking the time, effort, and heart to speak to us and help us grow as responsible and aware young individuals.
“The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Equip them with knowledge, and you give them power for a lifetime.”
