Makiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Buwan ng mga Katutubo ngayong Oktubre!

Ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ay kaisa ng buong bansa sa pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Buwan ng mga Katutubo sa bisa ng Presidential Proclamation 1906 s. 2009 na layong gunitain ang pagsasabatas ng Republic Act 8371 o ang The Indigenous Peoples Rights Act noong Oktubre 29, 1997.

May temang, “Kasaysayan, Karunungan, at Wika ng mga Katutubong Pamayanan: Mga Saligan ng Katutubong Pagkakakilanlan at Tulay Tungo sa Inklusibong Kaunlaran,” nais bigyang-diin ng Kagawaran ang patuloy na pakikiisa at suporta sa mga Katutubong Pamayanan sa pamamagitan ng Indigenous Peoples Education Program na nasa ikalawang dekada na ngayong 2022.

The United Nations is an international organization established on year 1945, dedicated to uphold world peace and security, fostering good relations between countries, and advancing social progress, higher living standards, and human rights.

The importance of United Nations Month is found in its celebration of diversity. To recognize the diversity of cultures, faiths, and languages found throughout the world.

Countries join forces to promote concepts of peace and harmony among individuals from varied backgrounds.
