๐Ÿ“šโœจ In Celebration of Law Week 2025! โœจโš–๏ธ

Join us for โ€œCase Storytellingโ€ by the BuKSU Law Journal โ€” where legal minds transform landmark cases into compelling narratives.

๐Ÿ“Œ MECHANICS
1๏ธโƒฃ Each team shall consist of two members.
2๏ธโƒฃ Teams will be assigned four (4) cases to prepare. The cases will be released one week prior to the event.
3๏ธโƒฃ On the day of the event, teams will draw lots to determine which case they will present.
4๏ธโƒฃ Presentations must take the form of a storytelling performance โ€” not a mere recitation of facts.

โœจ Creativity
๐Ÿ‘ Audience Engagement and Impact
๐Ÿšจ Depth of Internalization (grasp and expression of the caseโ€™s essence)

๐Ÿ•• TIME: 6:00 PM โ€“ 9:00 PM

Champion: โ‚ฑ2,000 (โ‚ฑ1,000 per member in a two-member team)

1st Runner-Up: โ‚ฑ1,000 (โ‚ฑ500 per member in a two-member team)

2nd Runner-Up: โ‚ฑ500 (โ‚ฑ250 per member in a two-member team)

3rd Runner-Up: โ‚ฑ300 (โ‚ฑ150 per member in a two-member team)

โœจ Bonus: Winners will also earn additional points for their teamโ€™s overall Law Week score!

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated team members: Ariel Padojinog III, Trisha Kerstin Griaga, May Hope Bebis, and Dickson Magan, under the expert guidance of Atty. Micah Stefan Dagaerag, who represented Bukidnon State University - College of Law at the 4th University of Cebu - Konrad Adenauer Stiftung International Environmental Moot Court Competition held from October 21-23, 2024 at the University of Cebu School of Law. Our team battled through rounds 1 to 4, securing impressive victories against prestigious law schools, and proudly advanced to the quarter-finals!

Their hard work and passion have led to remarkable achievements. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and prayed for our team. We are excited about the future of mooting at BukSU and look forward to more competitions!
