Kalasungay National High School invites all identified learners to join the ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Summer Program! ☀️📚

Our goal is to strengthen reading, math and english skills, build confidence, and ensure every learner is ready to excel in the upcoming school year.

The ICON FLEX ADM 3.0: Workshop on Developing and Evaluating Implementation Plans and Learning Resources for Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) was successfully held on March 12–14, 2026. The three-day activity gathered dedicated educators who worked together to strengthen flexible learning and improve instructional materials for learners in different learning settings.

Through collaborative discussions, planning sessions, and resource development activities, participants shared ideas and crafted effective implementation plans and learning resources that support inclusive and accessible education.

Representing Kalasungay National High School in this meaningful activity were Ma’am Darlyn Mabida and Ma’am Sheryl Borromeo, whose participation reflects the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and quality education for all learners. 📚✨

📢 Safety First, Always Prepared!

Learners and personnel of Kalasungay NHS actively participated in the Quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026, demonstrating proper earthquake response through the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. This activity strengthens disaster preparedness and ensures that everyone is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies.

Through this drill, the school community continues to promote a culture of safety, awareness, and readiness in protecting lives during unexpected disasters.

🌱 Planting Trees, Planting the Future! 🌱

The Kalasungay National High School Tree Planting Activity 2026 brought together Grade 10 and Grade 12 learners in a meaningful effort to protect and nurture our environment. As part of their moving-up and graduation requirements, the students actively participated in planting trees, showing their commitment to environmental responsibility and community involvement.

Through this initiative, our learners not only planted trees but also planted seeds of awareness, teamwork, and care for nature. Each tree stands as a symbol of their contribution to a greener and more sustainable future. 🌳
