📢 REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS

Warm greetings!

In accordance with DepEd Order No. 13, s. 2022 (Omnibus Guidelines on the Regulation of Operations of Parent-Teacher Associations), we respectfully remind all parents and guardians regarding their membership in the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA).

✅ Every parent or legal guardian of an enrolled learner is considered a member of the Homeroom and School PTA.

✅ The PTA serves as an important partner of the school in promoting the welfare, safety, and holistic development of our learners through active parent-school collaboration.

✅ Any PTA contribution, when approved following the prescribed DepEd process, is VOLUNTARY. No learner shall be denied enrollment, participation in school activities, or any school service due to non-payment of voluntary contributions.

We encourage every parent to actively participate in PTA meetings, programs, and activities as your involvement greatly contributes to the success of our school community.

In its continuing pursuit of educational excellence, the DepEd Malay District successfully conducted the District Echo Training for Teachers on the Alignment of Classroom Instruction and National Assessment for English, Mathematics, and Science teachers. This vital initiative strengthened educators' understanding of effective instructional alignment, enabling them to deliver quality learning experiences that foster higher achievement and lifelong success among learners.

This significant undertaking was made possible through the visionary leadership and unwavering support of our Principal-in-Charge of the District, Sir Democrito V. Barrientos II, and the dedicated guidance of our District GMRC Coordinator, Ma'am Ma. Cely P. Bandiola, Master Teacher II. The District of Malay proudly unites in the PARTY VIEWING (ONLINE) ORIENTATION FOR TEACHERS: LSS REFORM POLICIES, a significant undertaking that strengthens the commitment of educators and school leaders toward meaningful and responsive educational reform.

In line with Regional Memorandum No. 434, s. 2026 entitled “Orientation of Other Division Office Personnel, School Heads, and Teachers on Learning Systems Reform Policies,” teachers, school heads, and education personnel across the district gathered with a shared purpose: to deepen their understanding of the Learning Systems Reform Policies and reaffirm their dedication to delivering quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education.

To ensure maximum participation and meaningful engagement among educators across the district — Mainland Elementary Teachers at the Gabaldon Building Conference Hall of Malay Elementary School, Island Elementary Teachers at the Boracay National High School Covered Court, and Secondary School Teachers in their respective school stations.

The District of Malay successfully conducted the District Workshop on the Management of Assessment Tools for Kindergarten Teachers — a meaningful milestone in strengthening quality early childhood education and preparing our educators for the upcoming School Year 2026–2027.

Behind every confident learner is a dedicated teacher equipped with the right knowledge, skills, and passion to guide young minds toward success. Through this workshop, our Kindergarten teachers were empowered to develop, utilize, and manage assessment tools that are responsive, purposeful, and aligned with current curriculum standards.
