On April 12, 2026, the Mona Learning Center successfully conducted a CPR training session with 30 dedicated participants eager to learn how to respond in emergency situations. This meaningful initiative was made possible in partnership with Rotaract Club of Metro Malasiqui, and in collaboration with the Barangay Palong Officials, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials, and Barangay Health Workers (BHW).

The activity focused on teaching proper CPR techniques, raising awareness on the importance of immediate response, and building confidence among community members to act during critical moments. Each participant gained hands-on experience and valuable knowledge that could help save lives.

This initiative reflects the power of collaboration and volunteerism in creating safer, more prepared communities. Together, we continue to make a difference—one heartbeat at a time.

In celebration of World Rotaract Week, the Rotaract Club of Metro Malasiqui successfully conducted “Kitang-Kita ang Pag-asa,” a community outreach project dedicated to promoting better eye health for the residents of Brgy. Palong, Malasiqui, Pangasinan. This meaningful initiative provided a free eye check-up for community members, bringing essential eye care services closer to those who need them most.

Through this project, the club aimed to raise awareness about the importance of proper eye care and early detection of vision problems. Clear vision plays a vital role in everyday life—from learning and working to performing simple daily tasks. By offering accessible eye consultations, the project helped community members better understand their eye health and the steps they can take to protect their vision.

The success of this initiative was made possible through the support and expertise of Sinaiyah Eye Center and Santhera Diagnostic Center, whose dedicated professionals generously shared their time and services to ensure that participants received proper eye screening and guidance. Their commitment helped bring hope and care to the community.

The activity gathered 30 youth participants who were eager to learn and gain valuable skills that could make a difference in emergency situations.

The project focused on providing Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge, highlighting the importance of being prepared to respond during critical moments. Participants were introduced to essential concepts that can help them assist others during emergencies while waiting for professional medical help. By learning these fundamental lifesaving skills, the youth were encouraged to become more aware, responsible, and proactive members of their communities.

This initiative was made possible through the support and expertise of Mona Learning Center and Sinaiyah Eye Center, whose dedicated team shared their knowledge and experience with the participants. Their guidance helped create an engaging and informative learning environment that inspired the youth to understand the value of lifesaving education.
