LOOK:👀Division-Wide Literacy Assessment for Grade 3 learners & Numeracy Test for Grade 4 learners

On this noteworthy day, December 9, 2025, School Heads and teachers from other schools and district of Malasiqui,proudly administered two significant division-led academic evaluations to our Bakitiw Elementary School learners: the Division-Wide Literacy Assessment for our Grade 3 learners and the Numeracy Test for our Grade 4 learners. These assessments stand as essential instruments in measuring our pupils’ developing competencies in reading, comprehension, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving—core skills that form the foundation of lifelong learning.

Throughout the day, our young learners demonstrated commendable focus, resilience, and determination as they engaged with the rigorous sets of tasks prepared for them. Their effort reflects not only their individual growth but also the collective commitment of our school community to academic excellence. ✨📘➗

2025 JOINT BSP–GSP BACKYARD CAMPING AND GRAND PALABAS SHOWCASE
at Bakitiw Elementary School – December 5-6, 2025

The spirit of unity, service, and adventure filled the grounds of Bakitiw Elementary School as the 2025 Joint BSP-GSP Backyard Camping and Grand Palabas Showcase officially opened on December 5, 2025. The event brought together Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Kawan, Star, Kid, and Twinkler Scouts in a day dedicated to fellowship, skills-building, and the celebration of the Scouting movement.

Spearheaded by the ever-supportive school principal, Madam JOSELITA B. MACARAEG, together with the committed Bakitiw ES teaching force, the activity became a meaningful gathering of learners, parents, and community partners. Their collective effort made the event seamless and memorable, reinforcing the school’s commitment to fostering leadership and camaraderie among its young scouts.

OPENING PROGRAM
The day began with high spirits as scouts and their parents arrived early to put up tents around the designated camping area. Excitement was especially evident among first-time campers who eagerly participated in every preparation.

At 7:30 AM, the Joint BSP/GSP Backyard Camping and Grand Showcase Opening Ceremony was held, marking a significant milestone in the scouts’ journey. Troops composed of different levels—from Showcasing the talents in zumba/dancing from Kid and Twinkler to Kab and Star Scouts simultaneously, our Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts—lined up proudly with their Patrols: Tigre, Leon, Oso, Tamaraw and Kalabaw for the Boy Scouts, and Lobo, Kamelyo, Elepante and Panda for the Girl Scouts.

Following the opening program scouts showcased creativity and teamwork in Troop and Patrol Flag-making. Their colorful flags, later raised across the camping area, symbolized identity, unity, and pride within each patrol.

COOKING ACTIVITY, PATROL BONDING, PARLOR GAMES & OBSTACLE COURSE
A hands-on cooking activity added excitement to the camp as each patrol prepared their own lunch. This simple yet meaningful task helped the scouts strengthen cooperation, resourcefulness, and independence—core values deeply rooted in Scouting traditions.

The activity followed with the TORCH PARADE & GRAND CAMPFIRE.

SEARCH FOR MR. & MISS BAKITIW ES JUNIOR SCOUT OF THE NIGHT
As evening approached, anticipation rose for the Search for Mr. & Miss Bakitiw ES Junior Boy Scout and Junior Girl Scout of the Night 2025. The event celebrated the scouts’ confidence, talent, and character.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION
The success of the 2025 Backyard Camping was made possible through the unwavering support of parents, stakeholders, and the Barangay Officials of Bakitiw and Umando and Palong. Their presence and assistance throughout the activity highlighted the strong partnership between the school and the community.

CLOSING NOTE
As the campers packed up and prepared to go home on December 6, 2025, the joyful shout of “Home… Sweet… Home!” echoed—signaling the end of an unforgettable day and the promise of more exciting scouting adventures to come.
