Fire Prevention Month 2025 🧯🚒

To effectively use a fire extinguisher, remember the acronym PASS: Pull the pin, Aim at the base of the fire, Squeeze the handle, and Sweep from side to side.
Here's a more detailed explanation of each step:

P - Pull the pin: This will release the locking mechanism and allow you to discharge the extinguisher.
A - Aim low: Point the nozzle at the base of the fire, where the fuel is located.
S - Squeeze the handle: This releases the extinguishing agent.
S - Sweep from side to side: Move the nozzle from side to side to cover the entire area of the fire.
