Lokeb Sur National High School intensified its fight against drug use and abuse with the conduct of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week on Tuesday, November 21.

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Club organized the event, headed by its Coordinator, Mr. Raymondo O. Bataan, with the guidance and full support from LSNHS Principal IV, Dr. Genaro O. Manolid

The event started with a parade around the main streets of Lokeb Sur to draw the attention of the residents on the importance of a drug-free community.

Back at the Lokeb Sur Gymnasium, the LSNHS Drum and Lyre Corps gave an outstanding performance, before the actual symposium was held.
The symposium was aimed at raising the awareness of everyone, especially the youth, on the dangers of drug use and abuse.

PSMS Guada J. Padilla, from the Malasiqui Police Station, was the Resource Speaker in the symposium. She emphasized how drugs could easily ruin a person's life.

We also conducted contests such as poster making, slogan making and essay writing.

Lokeb Sur National High School conducted the Mass Induction Program for the S.Y. 2023-2024 on Thursday, October 12, at the LSNHS Gymnasium.
Dr. Shiela Ferrer-Baniqued, Board Member of the 3rd District of Pangasinan was the event's Inducting Officer.
