The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Gnanda Maguan IP School conducted its monthly Bayanihan activity to clean and prepare the area for the school’s Gulayan sa Paaralan project. Parents, teachers, and other stakeholders worked together in clearing weeds, collecting trash, and improving the garden space.

The activity aimed to maintain a clean and productive school environment while supporting the school’s feeding and gardening initiatives.

The school administration, headed by Sir Jhon Lloyd C. Manggay, expressed its gratitude to all the parents and volunteers who participated in the activity, highlighting that their support greatly contributes to the success of school programs and the welfare of the learners.

My time here has been very productive and fruitful because of all of you. The support you have given me over the past five years, I hope you will also extend to the next leadership. Sana ipagpatuloy ninyo ang mahalagang gawain with the same inspiration and pagmamahal that you have shown me.

A spirit of generosity and celebration filled the community yesterday, February 19, 2026, as Hon. Salway Sumbo, Municipal Mayor of Malapatan, together with his wife, Municipal Tourism Council President, Ma’am Flordeliza Sumbo, spearheaded a gift-giving activity in celebration of his birthday and the first anniversary of Sumbo Village.

Learners from Gnanda Maguan IP School were delighted as food packs from Jollibee were distributed during the event. Adding excitement to the celebration, the beloved Jollibee mascot made a special appearance, bringing smiles, laughter, and enthusiasm among the children. The presence of the mascot created a festive atmosphere that made the celebration even more memorable.

Aside from the food packs, school supplies were also distributed to support the learners in their academic journey. The provision of notebooks, writing materials, and other essential supplies reflected the local government’s continued commitment to education and youth development.

Teachers from Gnanda Maguan IP School were present during the activity, assisting in the orderly distribution of gifts and ensuring the safety and well-being of the learners. Their presence underscored the strong partnership between the local government and the school community.

The celebration not only marked personal and community milestones but also demonstrated leadership grounded in service, generosity, and concern for the welfare of Malapatan’s young IP learners.
