Another inspiring story from Liezl Pescadero

Self support by selling sampaguita from Grade 2 to 4th year college (BSBSA Major in Marketing). 😊

2 years in Accounting, then 2 years in Marketing.

Liezl:
Kinailangan kong mag-shift para maipagpatuloy ko pa rin ang pag-aaral ko. Wala kasing available na panggabi sa Accounting major noon, kaya no choice kundi lumipat sa Marketing. Ang mahalaga sa akin noon ay matupad ko ang pangarap kong makapagtapos ng pag-aaral.

Minsan talaga, kailangan nating mag-adjust at magbago ng direksyon, pero hindi ibig sabihin nun na sumusuko tayo. Mas lalo lang tayong lumalaban para maabot ang pangarap natin.

I truly felt the love and support of the people around me, especially the teachers I mentioned in my testimony. Their words of encouragement became a huge part of why I continued to pursue my studies despite all the hardships I was going through at that time.

Habang nag-aaral ako, tinutulungan ko rin mapag-aral ang tatlo kong younger brothers. Hindi naging madali ang lahat, pero dala ko yung mga payo, tiwala, at inspirasyon na ibinigay nila sa akin.

May mga pagkakataon pa nga na naglalakad ako mula Santulan hanggang UCC nang hindi nila alam, maitawid lang ang pag-aaral at magpatuloy sa pangarap.

Ang mindset ko kasi noon ay, “Hindi kasalanan na mamulat ka sa mundong ito na mahirap, pero kung lilisanin mo ito na wala kang ginawa para mabago ang buhay mo, iba na yun.”

Looking back now, masasabi ko talagang God has His perfect timing. He sends the right people to encourage us, strengthen us, and walk with us through every struggle and every dream. 💙

Alumni Class of ’96 still got the moves! 💃

Rock and roll never left us — the energy, the rhythm, and the joy are still very much alive on the dance floor. After all these years, it feels like time stood still as we laugh, dance, and celebrate together once again.

Here’s to Batch ’96 — still young at heart, still full of life! 🎶✨

Thankful for this opening and closing remarks, and for all the beautiful moments that happened in between.
