Workshop at UE Caloocan Chua King Ha Main Gallery ๐จ
Guided by Joemel De Leon, the workshop began with a morning session that focused on the fundamentals of composition, helping students understand balance, perspective, and visual storytelling in art. These lessons provided a strong foundation for developing their creativity and artistic skills.
In the afternoon, the session became more interactive as students engaged in a hands-on activityโpainting traditional taka sculptures from Paete, Laguna. This experience not only allowed them to apply what they learned but also introduced them to a unique aspect of Filipino culture and craftsmanship.
The workshop was a meaningful blend of learning and creativity, giving students the opportunity to explore art, express themselves, and appreciate local artistic traditions. โจ

Last February 21, 2026, the artwork showcase turned into a breathtaking fusion of visuals and movement!
As the artworks glowed on the LED screen, kAndili Performing Arts Ensemble brought them to life through powerful and expressive dance. Each piece on screen found its rhythm on stage, colors flowing into choreography, stories unfolding through every step.
It was really a night where canvas met choreography, and creativity moved as one.
