The first PTA regular meeting was held today at the PTA room. We have discussed a lot of projects to be implemented this school. A new Logo was approved by the board.

SJA-PTA Regular Monthly Meeting
6:00-8:00PM

♣The 1st part of the meeting mainly discussed the in-depth background of K-12 Curriculum as presented by the former school principal, now SJA's consultant, Mrs.Rosalinda Cupcupin together w/ the rest of the school administrators.
¤ SJA is into its preparation and for final implementation looking forward to the 2016-2017 Grade 11 & 2017-2018 Grade 12, Junior & Senior High School respectively
¤ Benefits of K to 12 Curriculum to values and training of our students
¤ It will enhance the existing curriculum 'coz it will decongest academic workload
¤ There are different "Tracks" according to the students' interests
¤ Presentation of the Projected Tuition Fee & Miscellaneous Fee after a thorough research and benchmarking
¤ Another forum is set by the school to discuss with the parents the updates of K to 12 Curriculum
♣ Presentation and Preparation of the upcoming Team Building Activity scheduled to happen during the Card Giving on Nov. 22 2014.
¤ This aims to encourage the active involvement of all Homeroom Officers thereby improving our goals towards strong and active participation and partnership between parents & school for our children's holistic
development.
♣Other parts of the agenda for the meeting will be considered in the next session due to time constraint.

Walang Pasok: Heavy rain causes class suspensions for Friday (Updated 6:30 a.m.)  Heavy rain brought by Tropical Storm Mario (Fung-Wong) forced the suspension of classes in parts of Metro Manila and nearby areas for Friday.

The Board had a quality and fruitful discussion on:
* Defining the roles and expectations of each member of the SJA
- PTA Board esp. among the officers
* Establishing the chairmen and members of the different Committees
* Plotting Programs & Activities for the year in line w/ these Committees
* Strategizing ways on how to improve our existing policies
* Updating at hand services to promote and maximize its scope and benefits
* Considering other matters raised among concerned for the good of our students, parents, teachers & non-teaching personnel, & the SJA management

We are committed to serve!!!

The FIRST REGULAR SJA GENERAL PTA BOARD MEETING TOGETHER WITH SISTER BAMBI DISCUSSED THE PLANS ON K TO 12 AND CERTAIN ISSUES SUCH AS SECURITY AND SAFETY MEASURES IN SCHOOL.
The board also volunteered to head the committees to assure the success of all activities that will be conducted this school year 2014-2015. :-)
