Yesterday, Computer Engineering and Computer Science students participated in the seminar Foundations of Workplace Safety: Basic Occupational Safety and Health, featuring Mr. Rimmiel F. Inginte, an Accredited Occupational Safety and Health Practitioner.

The seminar provided valuable insights into workplace hazard identification, risk prevention, and the importance of fostering a strong safety culture, essential knowledge for every future Computer Engineer, Computer Scientist, and IT professional.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Inginte for sharing his expertise and equipping the participants with practical knowledge that will help them create safer and healthier workplaces in the future.

In accordance with the advisories issued by the City Government of Malabon and De La Salle Araneta University regarding the suspension of on-campus classes, student activities, and school operations due to the continuous heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), intensified by Super Typhoon Inday (Bavi), the Foundations of Workplace Safety: Basic Occupational Safety and Health Seminar scheduled for July 11, 2026 has been postponed.
