MICRONS Club extended assistance to families affected by the fire in Barangay Concepcion, which occurred just a few days before Christmas. The incident caused many residents to lose their homes and basic necessities at a time meant for preparation and celebration. Through these donations, MICRONS Club, along with the SSLG and other clubs, offered support and simple Christmas gifts to help affected families meet their immediate needs and remind them that they were not forgotten during the holiday season.

The Microns Club successfully conducted the Info-Talk at the SM 2 Biology Laboratory this afternoon. The session aimed to deepen studentsโ€™ understanding of how nuclear energy works and its role in shaping a sustainable technological future. ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐ŸŒโš›๏ธ

The program began with welcoming remarks from our Microns Club Adviser, followed by the introduction of our resource speaker. This kicked off an insightful discussion on the history of nuclear power, the principles behind nuclear fission, the different types of nuclear power plants, and the key components inside a reactor that ensure safe and efficient energy production. ๐Ÿงช๐Ÿ’กโš™๏ธ

Students were highly engaged as they explored real-world applications, safety protocols, and the global significance of nuclear energy. A short activity followed, giving attendees the chance to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts presented. ๐Ÿ“โœจ
