Science Experiment:

Problem:

What will happen to a plant if it does not receive sunlight for 10 days?

Materials Needed:

2 identical healthy potted plants (same species and size)

A sunny spot (e.g., windowsill)

A dark enclosed space (e.g., cabinet or box)

Water

Labels (Plant A and Plant B)

Observation journal

Procedure:

Label the two plants as Plant A and Plant B.

Place Plant A in a sunny location where it receives natural light daily.

Place Plant B in a completely dark space with no sunlight.(takpan ng timba, karton o garbage bag para walang liwanag ng araw ang makapasok)

Water both plants equally every day.

Observe and record changes in both plants daily for 10 days.

After 10 days, compare the appearance, color, and health of both plants.

3. When did you start noticing changes in the
plant without sunlight?

4. Why do you
think the plant without sunlight changed its appearance?
