The University Student Council announces the upcoming 2026 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐒𝐎𝐒𝐀) and 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧: 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞, to be held on May 11, 2026 at the Performing Arts Hall.

In preparation for this event, the council has gathered 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲. The inputs were compiled and will be presented through the Grievances Report.

𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁

The State of the Student Address (SOSA) is the council's quarterly report on the achievements, concerns, and ongoing priorities of the student body. It reinforces
transparency and accountability by updating the Lasallian community on the council's progress and future plans.

Boses ng Bayanihan is a dialogue platform that strengthens communication between students and the university administration. Institutional and recognized student organizations gather and consolidate concerns from their members, which are then presented during an open forum with administrators. This initiative ensures that student voices are heard and that discussions remain inclusive, collaborative, and solution-oriented.

Together, SOSA and Boses ng Bayanihan promote unity, engagement, and shared responsibility within the Lasallian community.

In our latest LAYA FGDs with 𝐃𝐞 𝐋𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐃𝐞 𝐋𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, and 𝐃𝐞 𝐋𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞-𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞, we saw how our shared mission blooms in completely different ways.

In these rooms, Lasallian partners, formators, and students from various councils and organizations showed up as equal co-creators. We are collectively centering the mission by grounding our roots in the actual reality of student life today.

As the Second Term officially comes to an end, all students with assigned lockers are reminded to remove their personal belongings and valuables from their designated locker areas on or before May 05, 2026.

Please be advised that items left beyond the deadline will be cleared by the University and may be claimed at the USC Office.

Previous locker owners have already been emailed regarding this reminder and clearance schedule.

No locker renewals for Third Term. Students who wish to avail of a locker must purchase a new slot again under a first come, first served basis.

The University Student Council is pleased to present the accomplished activities and initiatives successfully undertaken during the Second Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026. These accomplishments reflect the council’s sustained efforts to respond to the needs of the Lasallian community through purposeful programs, collaborative engagements, and student-centered initiatives.

Throughout the term, the council remained steadfast in its commitment to deliver service grounded in faith, service, and communion. Guided by Lasallian values, these initiatives sought to foster inclusivity, strengthen student representation, and cultivate a community that upholds excellence, compassion, and shared responsibility.

Today, we honor the 375th Birth Anniversary of St. John Baptist de La Salle, whose unwavering faith and dedication shaped the Lasallian mission and the vocation of teaching.

His commitment to education reminds us that teaching is not only about imparting knowledge, but also about mentoring, nurturing and empowering students. May his example inspire us to teach with patience, passion, and a genuine love for our students, especially those most in need.
