🩸 Blood Letting Activity 2026

A total of 109 blood bags were successfully collected during the Blood Letting Activity 2026 conducted by Makilala Institute of Science and Technology. This meaningful initiative reflects the spirit of volunteerism, compassion, and the shared commitment to helping save lives within the community.❤️

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to RHU Makilala, led by Dr. Ma. Kahren Mae M. Pascua, and to Blood Bank Kidapawan City for their invaluable partnership in making this life-saving activity possible.🤝

Our sincere appreciation also goes to the faculty and staff of Makilala Institute of Science and Technology, especially Ma’am Connie D. Elbina for facilitating and coordinating the activity, and to the President of MIST, Dr. Gerardo A. Rigonan, for the continued support of programs that promote health, volunteerism, and community engagement.

We also commend the efforts of all Criminology, BPA, BSIS, Entrep, Agriculture and Midwifery students, coordinators, and volunteers whose dedication and teamwork made this activity a success.

The Community Extension Services Office conducted a Focus Group Discussion on the implementation of the extension program, with Dr. Dhealyn Decee V. Sabit, PhD from the University of Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan Campus as our distinguished guest speaker. We extend our gratitude to Ma’am Connie D. Elbina, CES Director, for her leadership and guidance throughout the event.

The MIST Community Extension Services is committed to empowering communities by addressing their needs through sustainable and collaborative efforts. By fostering partnerships, we aim to improve the quality of life in the community while promoting long-term solutions for sustainable development.

We also express our appreciation to the following stakeholders for their invaluable support:
