A SAFER SCHOOL ZONE FOR OUR LEARNERS

Buena Vida High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Council of Buena Vida, headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Aurelio A. Tajantajan, and SK Chairwoman Hon. Royalince C. Magdayo, for providing and installing “SLOW DOWN – SCHOOL ZONE” signs and a speed hump near the school.

This meaningful initiative will help promote road safety and remind motorists, especially motorcycle riders, to slow down and drive with extra caution as they pass by the school premises.

Safety begins with preparedness. Today, all teachers and students actively participated in the Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, demonstrating discipline, cooperation, and readiness in responding to emergency situations.

Through this activity, our school continues to strengthen awareness and preparedness, ensuring that everyone knows the proper actions to take before, during, and after an earthquake.

Buena Vida High School proudly distributed laptops to its teaching personnel to further enhance classroom instruction and improve the delivery of quality education.

These devices were procured through the school's MOOE funds, made possible through the initiative and efforts of our School Principal, Sir Rolando G. Vale II. This endeavor reflects the school's commitment to equipping teachers with the necessary tools to provide innovative, effective, and technology-driven learning experiences for our learners.

Together, we continue to strengthen education through collaboration, dedication, and responsible stewardship of resources.

Buena Vida High School successfully conducted its First Homeroom PTA Meeting and Board of Directors (BOD) Meeting for the school year.

During the Homeroom PTA Meeting, class advisers discussed the three-term school calendar and presented proposed HRPTA projects for the benefit of learners and the school community. The election of Homeroom PTA Officers was also held, with parents actively participating in the selection of leaders who will represent and support their respective classes throughout the school year.

Meanwhile, during the BOD Meeting, Sir Vale facilitated a brief discussion on DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, emphasizing its significance and implementation. He also presented a proposed joint project of the PTA and the school, the reconstruction of the school canteen to provide a more conducive, safe, and functional facility for learners and school personnel.

The school sincerely thanks all parents, PTA officers, and stakeholders for their presence, cooperation, and commitment. Your continued partnership plays a vital role in achieving a better educational experience for every learner.

Buena Vida High School is honored to welcome Dr. Rian Linao, the newly designated Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) of Makilala East District, during his visit to our school.

As part of his visit, Dr. Linao held a short conference with the faculty, where he shared his vision, insights, and words of encouragement in pursuit of quality education and continuous school improvement.

We are grateful for the opportunity to meet and engage with our new district supervisor and look forward to working together in advancing the goals of the Department of Education for the benefit of our learners.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | DAY 3 & DAY 4

The spirit of bayanihan continues at Buena Vida High School!

On Days 3 and 4 of Brigada Eskwela 2026, volunteers, teachers, parents, and community partners worked together in cleaning the school surroundings, trimming flowers and plants, and beautifying our campus to create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming learning environment for our learners.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the generous parents who donated materials and supplies to support our Brigada Eskwela activities. Your kindness and commitment to education greatly contribute to the success of our school.

Thank you to everyone who shared their time, effort, and resources. Together, we continue to demonstrate that through unity and cooperation, we can build a better future for our learners.
